Went here a couple years ago and it was like stepping back in time! Who would have thought that there was a saloon in the middle of a forest, but there was! It was so neat to walk in and smell the wood fireplace fill the air and see a table of regulars playing poker at a table. The dim lighting set the stage even more along with the crackling fire and the cold weather and snow outside! We had found our winter haven! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We were staying at Lolo Hot Springs and all the food options were closed up and we didn't want to drive all the way to Missoula, so we thought we would follow the signs for Jacks Saloon. We are glad we did! What a great experience. We got ourselves a couple burgers, steak fries and a couple beers. This hit the spot on a cold, winters night. My husband and I often talk about this place and wanting to go back when we are back in the area! Thanks for a great experience!!

We missed him, got there right as he was leaving. Bummed we missed him! A friend of mine and I went up there to eat. Neither one of us had been there for a while and were excited for the ambiance and the memories, the good food.It's not the same anymore. It's not a respectable place to hang out! They're playing rap music with the F word on repeat!! The bar tender was tweaking and had no help!!! A female by the name of Ryder Had her kids crawling on the pool tables. She was screaming the F-word and C word at a women in there. Because she was asked not to play the music and have her kids trash the pool tables with their shoes on. Nobody did anything to stop any of it!!!! The place is being taken over by dirty dollar bills. It's not the classy Montana country bar that it used to be!! Don't waste your gas!!!

This place is so cool. It's off the beaten path in Lolo, Montana at the base of the Bitterroot Mountains. They rent out cabins. We ate there for dinner and the food was very good. Inside is rustic and there are unique wood carvings everywhere and lots of fun signs on the walls. Ceiling and walls are covered with autographed dollar bills. We left some too! It is a must do and we'll known in this area.
