What a fun tapas bar in Missoula. The atmosphere was fun and hip. The bar tenders were friendly and the drinks we ordered were creative and delicious. We ordered two tapas and they were excellent, especially the bacon wrapped dates. The croquttes could have used a bit less sauce.

I had great expectations as this bar was highly recommended. When we arrived I was almost run over by the bartender who was heading towards the front door. We sat at the bar right next to the serrano ham that looked very wilted. After ordering our drinks, the bartender gave the drink I ordered to my husband and then the drink he ordered to me. Since we were tasting their featured drinks we didn't know exactly what we had ordered. When drinking my cocktail I noticed it was missing the distinct flavor of bourbon. I nicely asked if they used a special bourbon and the bartender told us we had the wrong drinks. By that time my husband had almost finished drinking the entire drink. I do believe this problem should have been fixed by the offer of a half drink or something like that since it was the bartender's error in giving us the wrong drinks. It was a mistake and should not have been made as the bar was not that crowded. I will not be recommending this bar! Truly disappointed.

Interesting, but needs more thoughtful presentation. The pickled vegetable were at least 50% green peppers - not enough variety and the pickling was very bland. They served the vegetables with saltine crackers -good grief - so disappointing. Drinks were very good.

We loved Plata. Nobody referred us, but we tried it based on the reviews. Jake is our favorite. He makes great drinks! We can't wait to go back. Thank you soooo much for making our evening memorable. We recommend "The Garden of Eden" and "The Nutty Godfather"

As a one woman team, Madelyn is killing it! She made me a more obscure off menu cocktail with ease, and handles a busy bar (food and drink) effortlessly. Would recommend for a cocktail
