When in Missoula wanting authentic German cuisine, you gotta come here!! I tried the Schnitzel, Nuremberg sausage & German potato salad & literally giggled, it was that good!! Liam was an outstanding server & Dan the baker makes incredible bread & pretzels!! The only suggestion I would have is to play some German music to complement your yummy cuisine & Bier!

What a wonderful place! The restaurant is called Edelweiss Bistro and is part of the brewery which is on a side street of Missoula. Plenty of parking on the street. It's beautiful inside with friendly staff and a casual atmosphere. The German food was just like Grandma made and so tasty! You have to look for this place but it's worth it!!

Food, beer and setvice were outstanding. We order the meatloaf, jagerschnitzel, schniztel sandwich and curry wurst they were all outstanding. Server was attentive and polite. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely excellent food, kind and attentive staff (working so hard- seriously these folks are a dream team). Everything here is clean and well organized, we have already recommended it to several people. The food was so good, we forgot to take pics- the German potato salad was incredible, the spaetzel (sp?) and snitzel (sp?) were so delicious. Hubby had the brat and sauerkraut and it was amazing. Definitely check this place out and try everything, best German food since I was in Munich. No lie!! Kudos to green shoed bartender, tan shirt waiter working up and downstairs to help green shoes and friendly girl who helped with the check & growler- you are stars!!!!

Enjoyed a lovely evening at the brewery while visiting Missoula.The German style food was excellent, and the beer was delicious. Not in the easiest location to find, but well worth the effort.

Despite what you may read elsewhere, this place does not allow dogs due to some brain dead county ordinance (didn't matter if you were outside). Too bad as the menu and beer looked really interesting. Giving them 5 stars as it was not their fault but I wanted to get the word out. The others who said it is dog friendly? No idea, maybe it depends on who is working.

I have been traveling a lot the last few years. It is always great to ask what food the server likes. Our server, without hesitation, recommended her favorite dish. It was Amazing! Also highly recommend the St Walter beer.

This restaurant was new to my friend who lives in Missoula. My husband and I were visiting her and my husband really likes German food so I found this place on Yelp. My husband really liked the beer that he got and all of us enjoyed the authentic German style food.

Years ago I had a friend bring me some of their beers in cans to try and I've been wanting ever since that day to visit the brewery.. well today was that day. It's a good size spot with seating both indoors and outdoors. There's a large chess game on the patio.They also serve traditional German style food but we had just eaten.. the menu did look good; definitely next time.It's a great spot putting out traditional German style brews and German brews with a twist. We ordered up a flight to try some of these different styles and everything was great.The lovely ladies behind the bar were on top of the service and we would definitely return for more beer.
