Their website's menu had one thing that looked good to me. When I got there, the actual menu had it swapped for something ick. I ate it anyway, paid $50+tip for the ick meal, and left super bummed. My family enjoyed their stuff though, and it's a pretty neat atmosphere. If you're going to have an online menu, you should keep it up to date.. no???

I absolutely adore this restaurant. Food is one of the purest joys in life and one of my passions. I love to travel and eat my way thru the world and still this restaurant in my hometown of Missoula, MT is my favorite restaurant. It truly embodies the “chef’s kiss”. The food is alway divine, the service exceptional and the ambiance elevated yet inviting. I cannot say enough about how much I love this place. Any time I get to choose where to eat, this is my choice. Birthday, Anniversary, treating a family member…Anyway, I digress. Thank you for bringing this restaurant my corner of the world. I am eternally grateful. <3

My wife I and loved our food and drinks. Extremely satisfied with our dinner there. Probably the best food I have ever had in Missoula. It is very pricey, but we left very happy and satisfied.

Overall lovely evening. This place has improved dramatically since its opening. Food and overall atmosphere was superb — we had the quail and steak frites. Both done perfectly, with a creative touch.I would like to give a five star review, but there were small touches missing that make this place fall short of a real fine dining experience.1 - We were celebrating and brought in our own bottle of champagne. The table was set with regular red wine glasses, and when asked, the server told us that they don’t have champagne flutes. …what kind of restaurant, at this price point, doesn’t have champagne flutes…?2 - After dinner, I wanted a small espresso with our dessert. They do not have an espresso machine, and I was offered drip coffee or tea. Again — as a fine dining establishment, espresso is a standard.Overall enjoyable experience, just not at the elevated level that I would expect from a restaurant marketed as fine dining.

Really great! our overall experience was superb. I honestly wouldn’t trust the opinion of anyone who doesn’t like it here.

While having breakfast at one of Missoula's fine pancake establishments, our server told us you all did lunch now. She said we had to have the smash burger. It did not disappoint. The crab roll special was also excellent. Servers were great and went the extra mile on an app via split entree. It's as equally great at lunch as it is at dinner.

Easy going atmosphere with upscale menu. Service was a bit slow, but our server knew the menu and wine list.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Brasserie last night with a date, and was pleasantly surprised by the updated restaurant. The old Pearl Cafe was my favorite restaurant in Missoula, and I was hesitant to go to the new establishment because I thought I would be disappointed. I was very wrong and wish I would have come sooner! My server Christina (or Kristina) was extremely accommodating, and helped with recommendations and stellar service through the entire experience. Additionally she pointed out they still used Pearl's bread recipe, which was touching to me. I had the Black Currant Shrub, Rack of Lamb, New Zealand Salmon special, and two desserts, the Vanilla Thunder and Tarte Au Carrote.I thought the cheeseboard to be standard, and would have like a little bit better of a selection of meat and cheeses, but the pickles and mini pimentos were both a nice touch, as well as the house made bread, which has a delicious crust and makes amazing little sandwiches. I'd give it about a 7.8 out of 10 in its category.Next I will speak to the absolutely delicious rack of lamb I had. Both of the entrees were amazing! The rack was cooked perfectly, and the accompanying pomegranate/pistachio gremolata was a delicious accompaniment I never would have thought of at home. There was even a miniature cannoli with very tasty ricotta in it underneath. I just wish there was more meat, but that is personal preference. As far as flavor and sides, this was fantastic. 9.3/10The highlight of the entrees was the salmon my date had though! It was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and made in a bag and served piping hot with zucchini and squash inside the bag and a relish that was absolutely delicious and gave crisp notes to the dish. It was tender without being undercooked and buttery soft. Coming from Seattle I rarely ever find salmon that is at the same level as where I grew up, and I've been in Montana 20 years. This was some of the best salmon I ever had. 10/10. Perfect.Last I will review the two desserts. The Vanilla Thunder again was as good as it gets, a layered cake with a delicious buttery texture in the frosting layer and a crunchy almond rocha flavored layer towards the bottom. An absolutely delicious cake that I throughly enjoyed. 9.6/10. The Tarte au Carrote was a different blend of almost pecan pie and carrot cake in a very dense and solid tarte crust. At first I couldn't cut into it, but that was because the deliciously put together cookie crust. At first I was put off by cutting through the crust, but I'd still give this dessert a solid 8.4/10.Thank you very much for the thoroughly enjoyable meal, ambience, and fantastic service! I would highly recommend taking a meal here.

My wife and I ate here and thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The food was fantastic, service was excellent and the ambience and decor were inviting. The ministration and love put into every dish really makes this place stand out from everywhere else in Missoula. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back!!

Had a reservation and was seated in the corner behind the bar about 2 feet from another table despite plenty of other open tables. Didn’t get greeted or offered drinks for 15 minutes. Decided the vibe was off so we ordered the cheese board with cured meats and some drinks. They forgot the cured meats, and for the price the quality was poor ($25) and bland. Was able to get seated and served quickly down the street at a different restaurant, thankfully.
