I’m adding my review only because I can’t stand seeing Grist with a 4.9 star rating. I seek out bakeries all over the western US, and Western Europe (don’t get me started on Northern European and Eastern European bread… it’s just not for me), and Grist is my favorite bakery. You folks in Missoula are so lucky! I may actually drive two days from LA when apricots are in season just to have their apricot danish.
The croissants from this bakery are delightful delicious. A buttery, crispy crust that shatters with every bite, revealing a soft and flaky interior. These pastries are a must-try for anyone craving a French-quality croissant. I would enjoy these daily if I lived here.

I have only had one product from Grist, but if I could give it six stars I would. The sesame fennel Rye bread is some of the most delicious bread/toast I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of bread! Can’t wait to try more. YUM!
