Dirty bird sliders was good. Slider looked nice too . Service was pathetic. The girl don’t deserve the tip I gave . Lentil soup was very salty , watery and tasted like heated up canned soup. I had better tasting Soups from Trade Joe’s .

The food is a bit pricey here, but we had the "hangover potatoes" and they were very delicious, plus a huge serving. The latte and mocha were very good too. I would come back for the same thing again. $41 before tip for two "hangover potatoes" and the latte and mocha as of January 2024

1/24/24A friend told me that they went to Liquid Planet and the food and service was great. Well, they weren't kidding! My wife and I went there thus evening. Our servervwas Evan and she was fantastic! Very personal and welcoming. We tried the onion ring. They were great and the portion would feed 4- 6 people! Wow! My wife ordered the club and tomato soup. I ordered the Teurketmy Specual was the pasta salad. All of it was 10 Star! My wife eat 1/4 of her sandwich and I had 1/2 of mine. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow! Evan our waitress suggested that we warm up the onion rings in an air fryer. She was absolutely great as I stated. Many thanks to Evan andvthe crew. Liquid Planet will be visited many time in the future. Thank you all.

I love the selection on books, they have about everything but the workers here are assholes. Don't be surprised if they give u the slightest attitude.

I love a bookstore that has both new and used books. This one has a large selection and the prices are fairly reasonable. The children's section is good-sized with a staff person in the area for assistance which can be very useful in locating just the right book. The used books always seem to be in good shape, which I have found not to be true at other used bookstores. They also have a small selection of games and puzzles as well as a little coffee shop with a seating area.I do wish some of the shelving sections were a little expanded/enhanced. They could use a biography section, for example. While there is some signage to assist in locating books without a section, it would still be nice to have a couple more sections to make browsing easier. I also sometimes have trouble finding books by authors that are fairly popular. For me the service can be a bit hit or miss. I've been here when staff is friendly and helpful and there have been other days when it seems folks are not in a good mood. Given that the location is in a popular strip mall, parking can be a challenge, especially on the weekends.Still, it is the best bookstore in the area.

I got fired from this AMAZING place yesterday, for DISGUSTING things I DID NOT DO OR SAY. I will NEVER say a disgusting word back about the store, or the WONDERFUL family who owns it. BUT... That said, I DO want Missoula, or the "void," my friends, or past co-workers to know that I 100% DID NOT QUIT after an attempted "nice" or "civil" conversation. I WAS FIRED. WALKED OUT LIKE A TRANSPHOBIC CRIMINAL, AND 86ED FROM THE PREMISES. THREATENED WITH COPS IF I EVER CAME TO THE STORE AGAIN. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED. I AM NOT DELUSIONAL. If anyone says I "QUIT," they need to check their delusional scale, practice what they preach and remember that words have consequences. I truly, TRULY LOVED working there and will NEVER regret it or the people I met. Thank you Haddads, for the opportunity. Best of luck in life and all your adventures.

In recent times the quality of the coffee has become pretty low. I think the same person usually is working there- apologies to them, but their drink making skills could definitely improve. It’s a nice place to grab a snack for my kid to keep her bright eyed and bushy tailed during long Book Exchange trips, though! And the seating and atmosphere in general is great. Just maybe avoid getting any kind of specialty coffee.

Terrible mocha! The guy did not mix the powder and left it at the bottom of the iced drink. The iced drink was warm because there was barely any ice, and the drink was only 85% full. My wife had the same problem with her hot drink only about 85% full. $10 for 2 drinks? I don’t think so… We won’t be back to any of their locations…

I find the workers a little standoffish but the book selection is great! I have found books (used) there that I have not seen or heard of the authors before. They give good prices for turned traded books also and will take back their own. I stop every time I am In Missoula and always seem to come away with a bag (or two) of books!

My review was removed so i will do a simpler one. The store has horrible customer service. I have waited on line forever only to find that the price is wrong or they lost my credits. The restroom floor was covered with toilet paper and urine. The prices are very high and customer service low

This place has good coffee, Italian sodas (and cremosas), and even though the bathroom has become far less clean (think bus station) since they took over the location from Zootown Brew, it's an all around decent coffee shop. So I'm going to put this as delicately as I can. The average refractory period for a man is 1 hour. That means that, flattered as I am by the attention from certain baristas, I am spoken for, and I would be a selfish man to take you up on your persistence, Michelle.

I ordered the lavender latte and got a full bodied, rich coffee layered with a sweet, smooth herbal earthiness. It was like drinking an amazing truffle, without the chocolate. A satisfying cup of artisanal coffee. Tables had multiple chess games; a quietly nerdy vibe.

Service was good. Matcha was terrible. I said unsweetened and they said they have vanilla and honey add so I said only honey.. I don't know if the honey was the problem or the amount of honey but drinking the matcha was like drinking crystallized sugar milk. I could barely drink half, I threw out the rest. Plus, the color was not the vibrant color of matcha and I felt the matcha taste was not earthy like a true Japanese matcha. It tasted doctored. Husband got a mocha that he said was just your average mocha. Nothing special.

There was a point in time when I really liked The Book Exchange, but today I flat will not shop there. Before: I used to like the selection, the thoughtful employee recommendations, and kind of the general vibe. They were nice to my grandma who loves to chat about books. I did hear from a friend I met there for coffee who knew the owner that every time she went in, the owner's husband followed her around the store staring. She was uncomfortable but chalked it up to cultural differences, which, huh? But back then I didn't get any other bad vibes off the place. Then they had, like, complete staff turnover in a very short period of time. They haven't been the same since. It's straight hostile in there, and they can't seem to hire or retain 'good people'. You may have noticed this fits a pattern in their reviews here-- that the older ones are very positive, but in recent years people have started getting notably bad customer service and witnessed some major-turnoff nastiness from staff and management. It is my experience that this is accurate, and I doubt it will change. To get into why would be outside the scope of a Yelp review. But as someone who's lived in Missoula a long time, the difference is palpable.

Wanted a smoothie and maybe a small breakfast sandwich/burrito. Found liquid planet online and walked there from my AirBnb which is in the 500 block of E Pine St. After a quick walk I walked into the warm and inviting place. My order was swiftly taken and the customer service was awesome; even asked me what I was up today! I sat down with my smoothie, which was delicious! The breakfast burrito hit the spot. I watched the barista interact with her customers in such a pleasant way. She clearly had an established relationship with many of the people that came in; remembering the orders all the way down to how many sugars. Very impressed by her attitude and work ethic. I will definitely return.
