Short girl with the long armpit hair and tattoos is genuinely one of the most unfriendly individuals that I have ever had the displeasure of coming across. There have been plenty of establishments that I have been to where I felt a tip was unnecessary, but, as somebody who works in the service industry, I would feel bad if I didn’t; This was the very first time that I have never tipped. I didn’t feel bad about it either. The way that she treated me felt like something about myself disgusted her. I cannot blame it on the business being a bad place to work at, considering the people in the back looked quite happy. The sandwich wasn’t great. The hummus tasted like the smell of opening a refrigerator with old food. The cherry hand pie felt like eating saltine crackers with post blunt cottonmouth. The bread was some of the best that I have had. Since this place distributes to the Good Food Store, I might buy a loaf. I will never come in to buy it here, since the environment made me feel so unwanted.

What a better place to breathe fresh from the oven smell of bread this place has been.

Brought my family here for breakfast. Great breakfast bagel sandwich and the croissants were all excellent. the jalapeño croissant was very spicy, the lemon was decadent! New favorite spot for breakfast.Kid-friendliness: Some games in the corner for kids while you enjoy the coffee.

Biscuit and sausage gravy was pretty good. It had a lot of chunks of sausage in it. My son liked the really crispy Biscuit tops. I'm more of a southern traditional style biscuit lover. They were out of different meats so couldn't get the sandwhiches that we wanted. The two different sandwhiches my family got both tasted exactly the same. ? The sandwhiches came with crackers and hummus, which I liked, but my son wasn't about it. All in all it was pretty good.

Holiday order was completely disregarded. I Placed a holiday order a month or more in advance and told this would not be a problem and I could pick it up 12/23. After not hearing back from the business for 2 weeks I went in and found there was no order to be found. I explained I had spoken to and received an okay specially from the pastry chef more than a month ago. I was called later that day on 12/19 and told they would not be able to make my order.

I had some time to kill before a doctor appointment so I decided to give Morning Birds a try.The staff there was nice, and they got my order right. Speed of service was a little slow considering how quiet it was, but certainly reasonable.I decided to order the vegetarian quiche and a latte. I'm not sure what beans they use for their espresso, but I wasn't a fan - it was a little low on flavor. Next time I may ask for an extra shot and see if that's more to my liking. Espresso taste varies widely and one man's trash is another man's treasure, so I really can't hold it against them if it wasn't quite my flavor. The quiche, however, is another story. It was quite dry and lacked flavor, as if it was overcooked and there wasn't any seasoning at all used in the preparation.I've read great things about their bakery products, so maybe quiche just isn't their thing. I'll try them again in the future and stick with their more traditional baked goods and update my review at that time.I'm a fan of supporting local small businesses, so I'll definitely give them another go in the near future.

One word: AMAZING. The customer service, the pastries, everything I loved! The guy behind the counter was so friendly, welcoming and patient with us as we picked out 12 pastries to try and bring back home to WA. My favorite was the coconut chocolate one with almonds on it. Probably one of the best danishes I've had in my life. I loved Montana and I'll be back Morning Birds!

I arrived around noon. This was my first time eating here. I really didn't care for the food. The eggs appeared to be processed. I asked for crispy bacon and got limpy bacon. The staff seemed uninterested in the service. Possibly I caught them on an off day. The place was a bit dirty yet possibly related to the morning rush. I will try it again so that I can give it an worthy review

Very good pastries. The croissants are always crisp and flaky and their bacon twists are something from a dream.

I love Morning Bird. Every pastry I’ve had is worth getting, but the cream-filled laminated dough is so excellent. It combines the things I love the most. This is a must stop for a treat and my favorite bakery in Missoula amongst some other solid options.

A wonderful bakery. Very flaky croissants, delicious cream fillings, savory and sweet options. Lots of variety. There’s something for everyone here. So many good things to chose from!Originally in this review, I said that I wasn’t giving five stars because they didn’t make enough bacon and egg pastries and always sold out within an hour. The store responded and said that they would make more. Went to the farmers market this morning and they were true to their word. Yum! Thank you Morning Birds!

Oh my gosh. The best croissants anywhere in town. For real for real. I got 4 different kinds and each was equally amazing. Best ever! Will be dreaming of your almond croissants! Until next time!
