My wife and I ate here for dinner on our last trip. We had to write a review because the waiter we had was fantastic! Huge menu with tons of choices, prices are good, location was good also. Nice decor!

Our waiter made the experience! He just made the whole process move smoothly. From bringing drinks, refills, appetizers, salads, entry's, desserts, and the bill. Needless to say he me wanting to sit at his table again!

Traveling across Montana heading for South Dakota, stopped at a motel in Missoula and right next door was the Montana Club. Having driven 10 hours that day it was just too easy to turn down... could walk there. The place was packed so gave them our name and went to the bar for libations. The bar was quite full of very friendly people and we chatted with various people while waiting. We were soon seated and found that the menu was extensive. Anything you wanted was probably there. I settled on a ribeye and my wife had prime rib. Everything was perfect, cooked to perfection and tasty. The best part of the whole evening, other than the fare, was the friendliness of the entire staff... of course I have found that friendliness is a trait of Montana people.

What an awesome experience, from entrance to exit. The nachos, clam chowder, bison ribeye were all phenomenal. I highly recommend this location for you next meal.

Great food and a big shout out for our waiter, Blake. We were travelling and looking for an oasis to recharge. Food quality, atmosphere and service all matched up. Be sure to try the berry cobbler--an amazing finish to a great meal.

Was sat at a table right next to front where people were picking up take-out orders and it still took over 10 minutes for a server to come to my table. Ordered the prime rib with garlic mash. Temp on the meat was good, but the garlic mash had very large chunks of garlic in it. The first bite into, what felt like a whole clove, was very unpleasant and the garlic flavor overpowered the rest of my meal. Won't be going back if I pass through again.

I love this location of this restaurant, and believe it warrants a 5 star review. Here is why.First off, the location by my house on Brooks made me never want to come to Montana club again. I received the worst service I ever received, and was disrespected by the staff after being a regular. This is never the case at the much nicer Reserve street location! After 14 years working in restaurants, this place is great for many reasons.I went to this location tonight, and have been to many great restaurants in Missoula. I always receive great service, even though it is always busy. They have drinks you can only get here in Missoula, such as the delicious Grizarita and Sweet and spicy pictured below. Prices are reasonable, and you can get everything from a good sandwich to a good steak. It is not fine dining, but it does have that mid level vibe and great atmosphere. I can tell the people there care about how it is ran.The steaks were cooked perfectly, and although they aren't top level beef they always seem to taste great. My mother commented that they are better than the restaurant we went to that is supposed to be the best steakhouse in Seattle the other day. I paid almost 4 times as much there. My server smiled when she came to the table, and was kind and attentive though incredibly busy. Everyone was professional and kind even though they were on a 30 minute wait all night on a Tuesday. The drinks here are fantastic, and they don't get mad when you order something complicated. From the simple sandwiches to the steaks, they cared about how it is done. I have been here probably 20 times in 14 years in Missoula, and I've never had bad service. If you have a choice, never go to the one on Brooks, and always go to this one if you are craving what this restaurant has to offer. There are places better in the world, but here in good old Zootown the locals know this is the spot to go after shopping.Thank you for bringing back my faith in Montana club. I hope one day you bring this level of service and food to your cross town location. I see why there was a 30 minute wait on a Tuesday night while other Reserve street restaurants struggle.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and personable. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. A must on the menu is the Bison Rib Eye Steak topped with a Huckleberry compote. Incredible! Another must try are the Huckleberry Martini and the Huckleberry Lemon Drop Martini. I love Huckleberry's. It took a while to get our order served. But, who cares. Relax and enjoy a luscious cocktail with your friends. When you're in Missoula, a night out at The Montana Club is a must.

Took FOREVER and I mean FOREVER to get our food. We sat at our table with empty drinks as our waitress helped tables next to us. Very dissatisfied with this place. The price did not meet the quality of the food either.

Had a great meal! Would recommend the prime rib sandwich with fries and their ranch! Also thank you for being a decent restaurant open after 8 on a Sunday!

Great environment and the service was good. The food was middle of the road. Tried the bacon caramel cheese curds that were good and I expected more from a steak in Montana. It did have the thickest slice of bacon I have ever seen. The place seemed very popular with the locals and it was one of the first places our hotel receptionist suggested.
