I just stumbled upon this place and gave it a try, and I'm so glad I did. This cheese steak is so good! The bread is fresh and the steak is cheesy. I got the hot peppers on it. Primo. I picked this up at the Golden Rose and their service was awesome too. This place is worth a try for sure. Great sandwiches and service!

Wow, really impressed! My husband & I split the Philly & ordered the puff fries. We also added their housemade bacon ranch & their bluecheese dip. The bartender, Adam, was really outgoing & friendly. Food arrived quickly & was delicious!

Fantastic cheesesteak in the heart of Missoula run by folks who know what they’re doing. They get their hoagies from Philly and their multi-culinary experience shines through their carefully curated menu items ranging from a schnitzel like pork sandwich to french dip to the classic cheese wiz cheesesteak (though you can get other cheeses too)! Missoula needed another food option for the dinner to late night crowd and Whiz Kid fills that void with flying colors. Operating out of a bar obviously has a multitude of other benefits but we just came for the cheesesteak ?
I've gotten Whiz Kid at least a Dozen times. Great food its always consistent my go to is a Steak Philly with Mushrooms Hot Peppers and Whiz cheese can't go wrong. I tried the Wedge Salad tonight and was blown away with how much there is for what I paid.
Dry atmosphere. The food was similar to its namesake… childlike.

I wish I had video of my husband eating this sandwich- I thought his brain was going to explode. According to him, he has eaten thousands of Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches and he says this was one of best! I (not an expert) can confirm that it was delicious. The chips are also bomb and we both have decided that the pico de gallo is the best we’ve ever had. Needless to say, Whiz Kid will be a weekly dinner in our house for sure.

I had a whiz cheezesteak with sweet peppers and onions last night for pickup. It was ooey gooey good. Better than Jersey Mike’s or Sonny’s IMO. Dadburnit. Now I want another one.

Not Great, the steak sandwich carries a 14 dollar price tag. im not a fan of pickled pepper on my sandwiches so i opted out of this. I ordered a beer asked for an ipa i swear it was a budweiser.the bar was running a promotion for a cheap beer with a sandwich, so i didnt say anything about the budweiser. The sandwich from first bite it was mid quality, big disappointment. the meat is like some bagged product, the cheese is barely noticeable so the meat is like a big wad of dishtowels inside bread. i close out, NO BEER PROMO price? do i need to specifically complain in retrospect? is that how the promo works? I had met the owner when i was dashing and he seemed really stoked about it, i dont know what happened TBH.
