Searched hard for a cozey restaurant that wasnt going to break the bank. We chose this place and boy were we happy with our choice. The food was great, the server was friendly and helpful. We would go back there if we come back to town. Thank you very much for the fabulous meal.

Ambiance was great. Beautiful spot. Service was GREAT and the food was even better. I probably would've eaten whatever they served me bc I was so hungry but I didn't leave a crumb on my plate. Looks like they have a really good spot for a big group to eat as well if that's your thing. Steak tip sandwich is what I had and you better get the sweet potato fries.

This is an excellent place for dinner in Whitefish. Great food, very fair prices, hearty portions. The staff is very friendly too. I highly recommend the Tot-Chos. Even the half portion is HUGE for two people and only $12. The Goody Bowel is an excellent choice for vegetarians. We liked it so much the first night we went back the second night too!

You need to be flawless if you want a 5 star rating. From opening the door and being welcomed by the hostess to walking out of the establishment. I don’t need to be pampered or want to be treated differently, but I am going out to your establishment to do exactly that, be pampered and treated differently. Yeah, yeah, first world problems. Every patron walking through the doors is an opportunity to impress and, dare I say, improve your business. Before I render my full evaluation I need to comment on a missed glaring opportunity by The Last Chair.I spent some time reading many of the reviews by both pleased and well, not so pleased patrons. What I didn’t see was a response by the restauranteur offering an explanation or apology for the experience. Like I said, you have to be flawless to get a 5 star rating.Everyone at our table was happy with their menu choices and for the better part pleased overall. The price for 4 dinners and drinks was, in my opinion, very reasonable. What I took exception with was being told I didn’t have a reservation even after I showed the hostess their text reminder of “you have dinner in 30 minutes”. Alas, they misspelled our name and we were seared. 20 minutes later we were approached by a waiter saying he wasn’t taking any orders beyond drinks but reassured us that our waitress would be along soon. Death will be with me soon too but we said Thank you. The waitress arrived all flustered and said hi can take some orders? We ordered our food and I asked for another drink…. I had to remind her of my thirst again and she did return PDQ w/ a beer. Although never offered an excuse I felt as though it may have been her 3rd night as a wait staff member.I had the classic burger with blue cheese. It was good. With the amount of cheese on the burger I can only guess there is a shortage of blue cheese at Costco. Not a mind blowing, got to go back kind of burger by any means but good. Everyone thought the food was as advertised and good. Not great but filled the hole. I mean, i make a better burger but I didn’t have to, i went out to be pampered a bit.At the end of the day I will go back and give them another chance, it’s just how I roll. I won’t recommend The Last Chair but at this point I can’t and feel this is consistent with other reviews. Not that they sway my decision process. That said, maybe you should call 3-4 days in advance for a required reservation and see how it goes for you.P.S. the bathroom was… clean.

We dined here with out-of-town guests, as we have over the years, and were sorely disappointed in our meals. 3 out of 5 of them were mediocre at best. I had the pad Thai, which I’ve had here before, and it was nothing close to the same dish. Salty, no peanut flavor! They did comp us a partially-eaten sirloin, which was nice. Everything else was overcooked. The tater tot app was delicious. The best part of the whole meal! Not sure how long this Whitefish mainstay will last given our experience last night!Dietary restrictions: Have vegan options

First time stopping into The Last Chair, and definitely won't be our last... The Last Chair might arguably be the best restaurant in Whitefish... Cafe Kandahar took the cake, but has unfortunately closed, so we decided to check out The Last Chair - Great decision, as this place is phenomenal. It's got a Montana-cool ambiance (very casual and laid back), friendly and attentive service, and excellent cuisine... Recommend the oyster mushroom Rockefeller, steelhead trout, and chicken n' waffles. Also, very reasonable prices for the cuisine, which teeters the line of fine dining (the food is unquestionably that good).

Omg, I wish I could give more than five stars. This place is so cute and the food is AMAZING. We had a party of 8 and we all LOVED the food, someone knows how to cook! Additionally, we have two people with dietary restrictions and they were able to eat and they really enjoyed their food.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten and dairy free and loved the veggie curry (I substituted the tofu for chicken). YUM!!

Located on the North side of town, this cozy restaurant has some great offerings. My wife had the walleye sandwich and I had their huckleberry burger. Both were great.

Food and service were good, our waitress was attentive. However, our party included 6 adults and an infant. The bill included a 20% gratuity - which was fine. I actually added an addition tip to bring our bill to $180.00.I checked my credit card and was charged $206. So the tip was almost as much as the meal.Truly disappointed.
