I led a group of 21 to Whitefish Mountain Resort (WMR) on a Wednesday with a planned group meal scheduled for Thursday evening. Less than 38 hours before our meal, and just before our cross-country flight, I learned that the planned venue for our dinner had to close due to COVID-19. After several failed attempts to get a return contact by e-mail, I was able to connect with Pescado Blanco by phone, just 21 hours before the dinner and they were able to accommodate us. And accommodate us well they did! Upon arrival they had tables ready to go in our own room. They promptly took drink orders followed by our individual orders for appetizers and entrees. The menu is quite extensive with Mexican oriented dishes, all reasonably priced. Options ranged from traditional to inventive with individuals selecting many different items. The food was universally praised. One person found her burrito was not as hot (temperature-wise) as it should have been, but the staff promptly corrected the issue. Many in the group finished their meals with items from the half dozen choices on the dessert menu generally priced at $6.95 including Bananas Foster. The staff was well coordinated and managed to produce and cash out the bills – one for food (which I paid from previously collected funds) and separate individual bills for alcohol – all in time to get us out the door to make the scheduled SNOW bus shuttle for the return to our lodging at WMR. Two thumbs up! I would definitely do it again, but this time planned ahead.

Excellent clean food. Carne aside tacos were great. Perfect pinto beans.

Average. Average Food, Average Service and Average Ambiance. The margarita tasted liked watered down sprite. With all the nice restaurants in Whitefish, I am not sure how this place is still open.

For the most authentic Mexican in Whitefish, with out a doubt. We love it, not only because of the amazing food and the amazing service, but the fact that the owner is the chef the 5 nights they’re open. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Consistently one of my favorite places in Whitefish. Tons of gluten free options!

Pescado Blanco serves outstanding food in a very relaxed and cozy setting. Dealing.... with the coronavirus....we were very vigilant. However, the cleanliness and the social distancing made us feel very comfortable dinning in ..... Pick up food was seamless. The food is incredibly fresh..... tasty ..... and prepared with perfection. The nachos will bring you back to this little gem.... again .... and time, again. Anything and everything is cooked to perfection .....and served with warmth and a welcoming smile..... our server - ( I apologize for forgetting her name) who worked at Pescado Blanco .... since the opening - 17 years ago..... was wonderfully delightful. The nightly fish specials .... of tuna and salmon were incredibly scrumptious ..... However, the elk chorizo burritos.... were my favorite. While my wife loved the bison burrito.... We both would recommend this wonderful restaurant... and the nightly fresh fish specials. Our advice ..... have a light lunch ..... and have an outstanding dinning experience in a very low-key and relaxing setting. Thanks- Suzanne and Bob Franco

Solid place but nothing super extraordinary. Went there at night and we were the only customers there so I'd say we were served relatively quickly. The drinks there were very watered down, my friend said hers was basically a sprite. The margarita also barely tasted like it had any alcohol in it and she is very sensitive to alcohol. The main issue I had with this place is the chips and guacamole. Maybe because the other cuban-Mexican place in the area was so good my expectations were raised but $8 for that? Take me back to the other place where the chips and salsa are free. It's like they never knew people need more than a tiny cup of guacamole for a huge basket of chips. The chips were also very thin and easily breakable, although I did appreciate that they were warm after a day of hiking. The tacos were solid, I appreciated their generous helpings of meat and liked the tortillas. The carne Asada one was very good, the shrimp one reminded me of something from Rubios but they did take it to the next level with the citrus inside. I'd give this place 4 stars if it weren't for the chips and guacamole.

AMAZING FOOD! I was recommended this place by a friend and am so glad I was, because it was the best restaurant we ate at! We had the jalapeño poppers (not your average cream cheese stuffed and deep fried), I had the habanero pineapple chicken tacos and my boyfriend had the elk chorizo burrito (they even grill the burritos, which adds deliciousness). Everything was amazing and we even bought 2 bottles of the house made habanero carrot hot sauce. They even use locally sourced meat and ingredients when possible...loved everything about this place!!!

Their homemade hot sauce with mangoes and pineapple is amazing! The rest of the food was delicious!

The food may be good. I don’t know. I sat in the waiting area for over 15 minutes without even being acknowledged. Same for the couple waiting in front of me. A waiter even walked between us and failed to acknowledge us. Then the waitress who came to the front took the to go order of the couple in front of me. And then seated another couple who had walked in after me. She said she would be right back to get my to go order. However after 5 more minutes of waiting I walked out.

I was disappointed by the food. I ordered steak fajitas which came as as almost all onions and peppers with tiny little cubes of steak. By "tiny" they were smaller than sugar cubes and there weren't many of them. From what I could tell, the guacamole was nothing more than pure avocado and the portion was so small perhaps it was just one avocado to boot. My wife said the tortilla soup tasted like it was from a can. Small portions, no flavor, high cost.

Hidden gem in Whitefish. Excellent authentic Mexican food... home made tortillas.... fajitas were delicious... my wife had the halibut tacos... out of this world....

I had elk chorizo tacos and a white grape sangria that were awesome. My wife had shrimp diablo that was perfect. Mitch was our waiter and he did a great job explaining everything and provided superb service. He even brought out their house made hot sauce, carrot orange habanero, which was very good.

As Texans, we are used to "Tex-Mex". Pescado Blanco is not Tex Mex. The seafood enchiladas were excellent as well Chili Relleno. It is too bad we discovered them the last night we were in town or we would have eaten there a second time.

Need a flavor packed meal... this is the place! Each bite leaves you wanting more. Carnitas are always spot on and their salsa is spicy but palatable.
