Wow this place used to be a staple of Whitefish.. it has gone down hill so fast!! Food presentation is so sloppy, and taste is off the mark! The cooks have the music blasting in the kitchen so loud you can't hear the dinning room music. They don't offer a lot of the things that I used to love, and when you get the food it's so sloppy that it's hard to eat! Not a good experience anymore!Wouldn't recommend it to locals, maybe tourist like it..but ....

Piggyback prepared their food well. Everything we ate, we enjoyed. Plan on a longer wait for the food. Even so, it was worth waiting for. If you like food that fights back, try the habanero sauce. It pairs well with most of the menu except the coleslaw.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free buns are available!

Absolutely phenomenal. My buddies and I, fifteen of us - in town for a bachelor party. Exhausted after a day on the slopes we figured Piggyback was a great option to fuel the biome. We were not disappointed. Food, top tier. Atmosphere, top tier. Service…. Man, the gentleman at the reigns ordered for us. And by golly he hit the nail. Brisket, mouth watering. Chicken, delightful. Needless I say the sides belong on a championship cooking show. This place is an absolute MUST for those in and visiting Whitefish. Super cool joint. Will absolutely be back - can’t wait. This really complimented our trip in the best way.

This is my family's most recent visit in over 8 years, and I have to say this was a very memorable experience (visiting from Canada).Service was great and though we were anticipating a 45 minute wait for our food, it went by quickly and our server was apologetic and attentive.I ordered the 2 meat platter: brisket and pulled pork with a side of pork belly. Sides were potato salad and coleslaw. The meats were tender and what I would expect from a bbq restaurant. The brisket was tasty but not as smokey as I was expecting. I found the pork belly a bit too crispy, but it may be a preference thing. Pulled pork was pulled pork; I would have been leaving a low score if they messed up pulled pork.My children shared a Mac n Cheese with brisket and they inhaled it.My partner had a half True Grit sandwich, and it was huge and delicious (see the pic). Our server noticed leftovers and recommended heating it up with eggs for breakfast.The stand out was the coleslaw, which had celery seed in it, or something, and was the perfect complement to the meat. It was like candy, it was so good. Their in-house barbecue sauce was awesome, and the in-house hot sauce was also very good.Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the servings.My partner found the cornbread dry and underwhelming. The honey butter was yummy.Great barbecue and great staff. To be honest I don't have a strong memory of my first visit, but now that I get to record this visit here, I highly recommend.
