Bars in Whitehall

“I've always loved the Mint Bar. Each time I visit my Mom and sister in Whitehall, I go to Tona's place. I was in Whitehall in July 2014, because my Mom is elderly and was not doing well. I got her to go to Tona's, and the social life and all the greetings from people Mom has known over the years in town brought her back to life. You cannot find a better place to gather for good conversations, good laughs, and the warmth of friendship. I love the Mint - thank you, Tona, and thanks to Bobbie and your wonderful daughters who staff the Mint....great people...great times.“

“Delicious panini, delicate crunch to the bread. Had the roast beef version. Do yourself a favor and get the Two-Bit sauce. Side salad was large, fries were good, and the JoJos were also tasty (especially with the Two-Bit sauce).We were traveling with our pug. They were nice enough to open the patio so we could eat outside. Very nice staff.“

“The staff was friendly and prompt. The food was good and the portions were generous. The amount you'd want after a hard day's work. And the prices were reasonable. We met another couple and had a nice long visit. The staff didn't rush us. Would go back again.My Philly cheese steak sandwich was delicious! And the burgers looked great, too.“
