“My wife and I went to the Prospect St. Swiss Chalet for lunch on Friday March15th. We arrived before the noon hour rush. The lady at the front desk met us and, with a little humor, guided us to our seat. Our waitress, Megan, came along and quickly got us our drinks. She had taken in a remark that I said and that opened a door for her to break into conversation. Not in a nosy way. She was very polite and well spoken. In this day and age it is hard to find people in their late teens and early 20s that have such good manners and people skills. She had just the right skill to check on us, do her job with other customers, and have an actual conversion instead of the generic "How are you doing today?" Kudos to Megan for the great service that we received from her. Also, the food was so good and so much that we couldn't even finish it all. Giving a very high rating because this has been the best dining experience that we have had in quite a while“
“Service was good.Loved the look of the bar. Classic pub look. I was surprised with the number of teenage looking people though. Definitely cut into the vibe of the night with people who consider bands like Nirvana as classic rock music.The live band was good! Some Newfie stomping happened. It's been a while since I was in a place that pumped out some island tunes.“

First time trying the angus burger and it’s very good with my toppings and sauce.Restaurant has a tv with sports, nice seating and electric fireplace with mantel ?Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair parking right in front of the restaurant to make it easy to walk in.“
“Wings are the definite highlight of the lunch buffet. They were hot and very tasty. The Chinese selection was pretty standard and unfortunately the curry chicken dish was ice cold. Nice dessert selection and I’m very happy they replenished the chocolate pudding when asked. Service was acceptable, but not overly warm or welcoming.“
“This place was recommended by others at the Delta across the street. We expected a bit of a wait on a busy weekend but it wasn’t long and worth the wait. Servers were great. The atmosphere of an old school diner, no fryers - everything on the grill. I had a Hot Hamburger. Perfect. The home fries are worth the visit alone.Prices are right. Everything is right.Go and see for yourself.“
