The food is fantastic and they're always friendly and helpful here. My daughter is a huge fan of their club sandwich ("The Stretcher!") and the house-made "chipsters!" Looking forward to trying this place out for brunch, too!

I’ve been eating here for years and the food is always good. However, recent turnover of staff has negatively impacted the service. One of the servers tried to take my plate three different times while I was clearly still eating. Another server decided to look over my shoulder at my phone and proceeded to ask me about the website I was on. Someone needs to give the front of house staff training on how to provide good service while not being intrusive to your customers.

The shrimp pic I just saw and u do not get what's in pic more like four tough shrimp. There was not pic of French dip that was not a French dip two slices of meat on a hot dog roll. Very disappointed. Will not return.

Although the initial dining area seems cozy, it provided at atmosphere that was homey and pleasant. I got a good look at other peoples' fresh orders and it helped me decide what I wanted to get for dinner with my husband. The amazing food smells were making it hard to decide ? Flavors were on point with the sandwhiches and we tried out local beers. Although the brisket wasn't made there, the owner, who cheerfully served our food, noted that he loves quality taste and doesn't skimp when finding the brisket. He was pleased to know that as a BBQ fan, I believed the smokey flavor and tender, juicy meat made a beautiful sandwhich when topped with a grilled, slightly crispy but soft inside bun. Place was clean and smelled good. We would definitely go back!

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and the FOOD was excellent. We got the special, an amazing Cuban with a loaded potatoe soup... Delicious! The place was hopping and the service was great, pleasant and attentive. We will be back and we can highly recommend this place.

Thought we would try out Brick & Mortar when visiting Angier, NC for a plant shopping trip at the nurseries on Old Stage Coach Road. Let me start with a positive, the fried okra was fantastic and waitress was fine. But it was all downhill from there. I ordered a Ruben sandwich, it barely had 3 very small slices of paper thin deli cut corned beef, a teaspoon amount of sauerkraut and no swiss cheese could be located. The construction of the sandwich was haphazard, no meat on one side, just bread, a few shreds of sauerkraut and a pinch of thousand island dressing. I know food costs are high, but $14 for this sandwich and a 3.5% credit card processing fee is ridiculous. Don't bother, just walk a few buildings down and go to Big Ed's.

Great food and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back! Dining area is a bit small and crowded but definitely worth it.Dietary restrictions: My wife is gluten free and enjoyed her gluten free wrap.

Spontaneous drop-in while travelling was well worth the visit. Their waitress was a perfect example of customer service. Enough can't be said for her exemplary professionalism. The delicious food included some sophisticated, as well as healthy choices. Appreciable effort has obviously gone into sculpting the ambience of this quaint spot. We look forward to returning on our next trip through.
