Another trip to Doherty's in Apex resulted in a very pleasant surprise. Our visit started with a genuinely warm greeting by Abby, at the door. Who, as it turned out, was also our server. We read that the special sandwich was a "Cuban Ruben". Since both my wife and I enjoy all the varieties of Ruben sandwiches at Doherty's, we asked Abby her opinion. Her response was something like, I haven't tried it yet, but it gets high praise from our customers. (I just love the honesty here; she could have just said, they are delicious.) And what a great sandwich it was/is. Thanks Abby, for treating us to such outstanding customer service. Susie, the Manager on Duty, stopped by our table, and what a joy she is. Hailing from Liverpool, UK, she sounds more Scottish than British and exudes all the friendliness one might expect in a local Pub. I have since learned that the Cuban Ruban is the creation of Scott O., one of Doherty's great chefs. Good on ya, Chef Scott. If you haven't visited Doherty's Irish Pub, I highly recommend you add that to your bucket list. John & Linda Davies

Can't say enough good things about this pub. Loved the live music, a 5 piece band, The service was excellent and it was hard to choose from all the menu options. The family enjoyed sharing the Irish Egg Rolls.

Great Sunday Brunch with all of the fixings you could ask for. The only issues we had was the service was a bit slow, so we had to rush the meal and no soft drinks were included.

We have always enjoyed Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Apex in the past, but it had been a while since we had been there. We recently returned to Doherty's with friends for Sunday dinner. One of our friends had an injured leg and was wearing a "boot," so we were very thoughtfully seated in a comfortable location (booth) for her sake. Then Abigail arrived to serve our table, and what a delight she was. We remember the food always being great, but we actually felt the food was even better than before, if that's possible. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely and the warm bread pudding for dessert was the "icing on the cake." We greatly appreciated the kind, thoughtful, attentive service by Abigail -- she is a real asset to Doherty's. We look forward to our next visit!

The best Irish restaurant in the Triangle! The service is hit or miss but the food is always wonderful. We have not had an issue with any dishes we've tried here. They recently opened a location in pittsboro-look forward to trying it out.

After living in Apex for 18 years, I finally tried Doherty's! The food was so good!!! The service was average, but I will be going back for sure! And the chocolate mousse dessert was amazing!

Always consistent food. Menu is a little limited for keto options. Can be a bit noisy on the weekends, but that's to be expected in a pub! Good service. A bit pricey but worth it.

Visited Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Apex, NC, on March 15th and was absolutely blown away by the level of service provided. Our server, Spencer, was the epitome of professionalism and friendliness, making us feel incredibly welcomed and valued from the moment we sat down. His attention to detail was exceptional, ensuring every part of our meal was perfect. The Pub Burgers, accompanied by crisp green beans and perfectly seasoned fries, were delicious beyond words. It's clear Doherty's prides itself on quality food and even higher quality service. Spencer's courteous demeanor and efficiency made our dining experience unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal that's both delightful and memorable.

This was my first visit here. I will definitely return. My Reuben was very good and the onion rings were delicious. A great casual, friendly atmosphere. It's a very clean pub.
