We had the pleasure of Jackie being our server. She enjoys her job. We thought she was the owner until we asked. She said she just really cares about the diner! We’re from Durham and was in the area, we’re glad we chose to try it.The hamburger steak was delicious! Definitely will come back next time we’re there and save room for a milkshake!

Great simple diner with a vast choice of things to eat. Service was pleasant and fast. Totally respected my allergies. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for the old school diner feel.

First time here and we loved it. I got the pot roast open faced sandwich. Delish ?. My husband loved his Philly cheese steak and fries. Good sweet tea as well. Desserts looked great but we were full. Maybe next time!

Went during lunch rush, looked short staffed. It was definitely worth the wait. Food came out fairly quick and was cooked to our needs! Highly recommend this place

The eggs were raw and cold. The servers were running around like crazy. I ordered a strawberry cake and the cake was so dry that I got cotton mouth and felt so dehydrated that i had to take a liquid IV after eating it.

Pricey for grill food. Onion rings cooked way too much and homemade potatoe chips not crisp..... tea was like water ,had to change up the drink. Service was good but that was about all

I tried this restaurant for the first time today with my grandson. Although it was very good and the service was good. I thought it was pretty expensive… For example, they’re charging $5.99 for large orange juice which I’ve never seen… He got pancakes and ordered some bacon with the pancakes. I think he got three slices of bacon and that was $4.99. I will try it again but be more mindful of what I order and how I order it. The server did not offer any options as far as large juice, small juice, that kind of thing. We need to read the menu better next time.

More 50s dinner than New York style dinner. Homemade chip fries were amazing and my wife loved the onion rings.

Had a very good breakfast (which isn't cheap anywhere around here any more). They got my eggs right and my bacon crispy, as asked. Hash browns could've been better.

I met a friend at Peak City Diner for brunch on Sunday morning. It was my first time eating there and the place has a old-timey diner vibe. My friend arrived early and was able to get us a table. It was a good thing she did, because when I arrived at 11am the line to even check-in for a table was long and the place was very busy. It took the waitress about 10 min or so to come over and ask me if I wanted coffee or anything to drink. She was apologetic, but I totally understood given how busy it was. The waitress actually ended up bringing us a pitcher of coffee so we didn't have to keep flagging her down for refills. I ordered the eggs benedict with ham and a side of home fries. The food did take some time to come out (again, I understood b/c of how busy it was). The eggs benedict was OK, but not great. Everything was very salty. Overall, I wasn't super impressed and I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.
