I would grab something from them once a week until "the Man" came and shut them down for permits. I hope they come back. Good food!

Serving rotten food! And was cash only! I went to get lunch, there were no clear signs that it was cash only. I received my order and then had to go and take out cash at the nearby food lion and go back to pay. Only to find out when I get home that the meat was all extremely rotten and expired. Please stay away if you can!!! Save yourself the trouble of wasting money on expired food.

It's great, very authentic. I love the quesadillas but the tamales are amazing. One is really spicy, I forget which but they are all great. My dad is Mexican so I'm pretty picky.

My first time here for dinner, so I tried a "make your own combo" with a beef chimichanga and a chicken burrito. It came with refried beans and rice and had a little shredded lettuce, tomato, cheese, guac and sour creme on top of the chimi. Both the burrito and the chimi were smaller than some places, but were stuffed with meat....nothing else, just meat. Both the meats were just ok...I added some of the salsa that was served with chips to add some flavor. There is plenty of parking and the place is not real big, but big enough to have a large group. They do have a bar and the drink and menu is large, with the typical offerings available. There was only one person working...he was doing a great job with take out and in house orders. The meal came out quickly and was warm...could have been hotter, but at least it everything was warm. Not my favorite place, but I am glad I tried it. I noticed they do have lunch specials.

This unassuming taco truck on the south eastern corner of Apex Peakway and Center Street is probably the best Hispanic food spot in Apex. They only seem to be there on weekdays during lunchtime, so whenever I have a day off or if I'm working from home, I'll try to get lunch here. If anyone else knows where they are on the weekends, please let me know!! The last time we were here we ordered the buche quesadilla (I think), the chicharron taco, and the vegetable quesadilla (not pictured). All were incredibly delicious. We'll definitely continue to come here, we just wish we knew if they were open on the weekends, and if so, where they park their truck at.

My family loves this place. The staff are always happy and helpful. The food is fantastic. This is a true local gem and family owned. The owner and his entire family work here. I have been eating here for over a decade. The food is consistently good and the service is wonderful. Be sure to try the made in house hot sauces, you have to ask for them, but they are complimentary.
