My husband and I visited here for our anniversary in 2022 and the experience was top notch; however, this time was very different. We did mention our anniversary celebration on the reservation, but we were seated by a noisy bachelorette group. The server, Kurt, was wonderful, but service overall was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. The food was tasty, but we will probably not drive to Asheville for this again.

This is a consistently great restaurant. The food is always delicious and my heat level 3out 5 was perfect, spicy but can still taste the food. We both had lamb and it was fork tender. Our server was great and made our dinner that much more enjoyable. Thank you all!

The food was excellent, service was quick and professional. Anil was spot on with recommendations and anticipated our needs perfectly. Despite being busy, food came out very quickly and everything was delicious.Vegetarian options: Very many vegetarian and vegan options. I had the chickpea saag and it was amazing and very filling.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are clearly labeled and there were quite a few to choose from.

Fabulous dinner at Andaaz last night. I looked up the reviews so we decided to try it. Great location. Ambiance is so nice inside. Food was amazing and our server was so helpful in trying to help us decide on a few items. Definitely recommend and will dine again when we are in Asheville.

We LOVE Andaaz! The food is fantastic every single time. The owners are warm and friendly and even though they greet a LOT of people every day, they greet us with such kindness. Mo has been our waiter numerous times but we always feel like we won the jackpot when we get him. He's knowledgeable, attentive and super friendly and nothing is ever too much for him. The menu is amazing and they make it all from scratch so you can dial perfectly into your taste and/or level of heat. If you're on the fence, go to Andaaz, it's one of the best restaurants in this area!

This is a review of their lunch buffet. Note they have five dollar mimosas!I have been to their lunch buffet a dozen times, and I am always thrilled with the fact that they change up their offerings. Yes, of course you’ll find the standards; tandoori chicken is here and masalas. But you will often find new items as well. Kale pakoras, a wonderful okra dish, some interesting, vegan options. One time there was an exquisite mushroom dish, and lately they have had some really nice crispy fish dishes. I love the fact that it’s not the same standard buffet you find at other places, but the classics that you expect are still here.Plus 5 dollar mimosas! They mix up the flavors as well. One time it was pineapple; one time it was watermelon. Please bring back the watermelon! And you can always have a traditional orange juice mimosa. The service is as expected and adequate. Since it is a buffet, servers come to the table, take your drink order, take away your empty plates, and sometimes when I need a second mimosa, I will flag somebody down, but really the service is fine for a Buffet. The only problem is that when I go to some of the cheaper buffets in town, they feel greasy in comparison. The food here is so fresh and well balanced; it’s a little bit more expensive than some of the Indian buffets in town, but worth a few extra dollars!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options on the lunch buffet. And everything is labeled!

Absolutely amazing paneer makhani, garlic naan, and peshwari naan. Seriously, fantastic. A dish that was ordered as fish was delivered with shrimp instead, which isn't my bag, but they were nice and helpful when I called. Also the one container of rice that came with the order was all used up with the makhani, so it wouldn't have been enough for two dishes. So I suggest dining in or at least picking up your takeout so you can check it before you leave. I will definitely eat here again and recommend to friends since the food was delicious and they corrected the mistake with grace.

Extremely disappointed. I called the night before going and stated I'd be coming in on the 14th for my birthday. I was quoted $15 per person. I go in on my birthday I'm sat and not assisted. Waited for 10 minutes a server never came and I was never provided a menu. I finally decided just to get the buffet and had to go ask if I just help myself or wait on a server to come by. Not only was I not assisted by a server and never given the opportunity to go over a menu I was also charged a weekend price which was $21.99 after being told on that day it'd be the weekday charge of $15. I did try to speak to a staff member regarding price I was quoted they stated these are the prices for the day and walked away. They offered no assistance in resolving the issue. It wouldn't have been as big of an issue if we had actually been served like everyone else around us instead of being treated like we were less than. I do not recommend dining here. Extremely disappointed in this establishment.

Don't sit at the end of the bar if you don't like freezing cold wind every time the door opens. I had a good meal but my service was very unpleasant. Brieyiah seemed very interested in tending to one side of the bar versus the other. She ignored me on several occasions to the point I was honestly going to ask for my meal compensated for. She decided to start engaging with me after she realized I was going to spend a decent amount of money for my time there. She really had no interest in serving me until it was time to pay and she was hoping for a great tip. Maybe she was having an off night but she seemed extremely friendly to a couple that was sitting at the bar whom were on vacation. She needs to do a better job at making "everyone" feel welcomed to dine at the bar.
