We were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. Shown to our seat then our drink order was taken right away. Beautiful place, nice & quiet. The food came out hot & delicious.

The lady was awesome that helped us!! The sauce on the hibachi had great flavor and portions were good also. Steak was cooked perfectly! We got a fried shrimp appetizer (cannot remember the name) but similar to bang bang shrimp..10/10 awesome!!! We will be back when visiting chimney rock.

I rarely ever write reviews but this place deserves credit for being the best sushi in Asheville, without a doubt. The quality of fish is better than anywhere else and the rolls are consistently, impeccably made. They also have a much better selection of special rolls that you can't get anywhere else, which is impressive, given how popular sushi is these days.However, what keeps me coming back isn't just the sushi, but the customer service here, which is amazing. Emmie is so incredibly kind and personable, and always goes the extra mile to be sure people are happy. You can tell its because she actually cares about people--its not just business for her, which is really refreshing, as genuinely good customer service is so rare these days. She remembers people and has made this place feel like my favorite neighborhood restaurant....even though I live across town.Sushi-lovers, do yourselves a favor and check this place out if you haven't yet!

Great lunch specials! Lunch is a slightly smaller portion but very tasty and comes with a choice of soup. We tried both soups miso and clear, tofu and mushrooms were tender. Sushi is good quality and beautiful presentation with a little light and a fresh flower. Husband had the teriyaki steak, tender and flavorful sauce. Wish we have order TWO teriyaki lunches, they are so tasty. We also shared pan fried gyoza, good quality. Staff is nice and service is quick.

I'm worried about this place-- it's generally empty when I go. It's one of my two favorite Japanese places! Today, I got a bento box, as I often do, but instead of tempura shrimp as the main dish, I tried Thai curry chicken. It was great! Ok, could have used more heat, but it was loaded with tender-crisp vegetables and just the right hint of peanut flavor. The sushi has just a thin layer of rice and almost all meat and/or vegetables.Try it, see if you don't love it, before it's too late!Parking: Right outside
