Very fun, vibrant, energetic spot! I stopped by here during a solo bar hop; it was really close to where I was staying. It was early Sunday afternoon and I actually had trouble finding a spot, but I ended up ordering at the counter and sitting right up front by the entrance/window. I was really tempted by their menu (they have some fun/entertaining options) but I ended up sticking with a glass of prosecco. Bartender was nice and friendly, poured my glass immediately- It was nice and crisp, chilled, just how I like it. I really liked the atmosphere here; loud, everyone having a good time. Next time I would probably try one of their cocktails.

Best bar in Asheville for people that like ACTUAL bars. Service is perfect. James was an awesome bartender, and this is going to be the bar we go to every time we’re in Asheville. Be a good person, get awesome service. Cannot recommend enough to people visiting from out of town who need a place to feel like they’re back home.

Don't go here. The place is straight trash and my friends and I were verbally abused by the jerk working the door. Go to the irish bar next door where people are nicer.
Friends and I went here on 2/18 and were greeted by the rudest most uncouth door person I have ever met in my life. After he proceeded to belittle my friends and I for not having cash (accusing us of spending it on drugs) he verbally abused my friend because she put in her phone number incorrectly while checking in and then talked down to us the entire rest of the night while just being a huge jerk all around- do not go here- save your money and go to the irish bar next door where people are nice. This is establishment is straight trash.

Denied entry for being foreign? Passport nor UK ID would suffice for entry, was told only scanning American IDs would suffice? I guess the rest of the world isn’t allowed in, it also smelled bad.

epic future
The experience at this establishment was marred by the aggressive behavior of the heavyer-set, long dark haired bartender. I ordered a single drink to accompany a friend, but my boyfriend didn’t. He refrains from alcohol due to his family history, and was met with hostility and judgment (including dirty look and exasperated body language) for not ordering a drink. Because of this, I didn’t tip. The bartender's demeanor, including throwing the check and demanding a tip, was unacceptable and left me feeling unsafe. While I recognize tipping as customary, it should not be coerced through confrontational behavior. Overall, the atmosphere was aggressive and unwelcoming, and I would not recommend this place, especially for female patrons or anyone looking for a safe, welcoming environment.
