Jordan and Chef Dean coordinated an exceptional menu that was every bit of remarkable. Chefs creativity played out in each offering and our guests couldn’t stop taking about how excellent it all was. Like seriously, this food will knock your socks off. We also used their bar services and Hayden was an excellent bartender creating beautiful drinks and mock tails for everyone. Cielo also provided the plate wearing and did a fantastic job setting up our tables. Their serving staff was so attentive, friendly and efficient. Every aspect of this service was above and beyond. Unfortunately, we had quite a few issues with our food and service for our big day. We really struggled to receive great communication throughout our planning process from the Cielo team.I felt for quite a while that our event wasn’t a priority to their team, even when we were paying a high premium for their services. We had a pretty small wedding of about 100 people and almost every table had issues with cold food. I was pretty dissatisfied with the overall experience, especially since we had been working with them for over a year to curate the perfect evening for us.The food flavor overall was good, but would recommend making sure you are totally comfortable with price and communication before moving forward with Cielo, it was the only issue we ran into on our wedding day.

From a planner perspective, it was really easy to work with Jordan to craft the perfect menu for my clients; they provided delicious options along with wine pairings for each course. On the day of the event, I had the luxury of being both a planner and a friend, so I could enjoy the incredible family-style meal seated amongst guests. The venue we chose for our event did not have a kitchen on site, so they brought their own! The chef and his team cooked over an open flame and the results were amazing and beautifully refined, each course topping the last. Ever since I saw the "Chef's Table" series on Netflix I've wanted to eat food that was prepared Argentinian style over an open flame. THIS WAS THAT EXPERIENCE!!! So impressive. We were lucky enough to attend an Argentinian asado dinner catered by Cielo and it so much fun. I'm still thinking about that beautiful meat, and the wonderful potatoes - it was also just a joy to watch the whole process and to hear Chef speak about his food. If you are looking for a really fun, interactive experience for a wedding or a rehearsal dinner this would be a show stopper.

I want to thank Jordan and Chef Dean at Cielo Catering for my father's 80th Birthday dinner - it was exceptional on every level.When my mother and I looked at caterers we went with Cielo because we loved the sample menus - delicate, thoughtful and the flavor combinations were what we were looking for. Their emphasis on sourcing sustainable local food seemed great. I had never enjoyed a Cielo catered meal so I was not sure what to expect. We hired Cielo for an intimate dinner for ten at my home. We decided on a four course meal with canapes to start. I can say that the meal went above and beyond our expectations. It was a truly memorable meal - an event in and of itself. The food was delicate, delicious, superb. My parents have travelled the world and have enjoyed many meals in great restaurants. My mother is extremely critical of food, so as the hostess I was a bit nervous. By the end of the night, my mom was overjoyed and so thankful to Chef Dean. He really hit all the marks - from the exquisite canapes, to a beautiful mushroom consomme, to a delicate and scrumptious salad, and then a fresh halibut cooked in banana leaf and a succotash side - it was beautiful food served elegantly. The chocolate cake served with compote was divine.Jordan was great at organizing and setting up the night. Both Chef and Jordan were extremely personable and the night flowed very well, even with our open plan dining room table just a few feet away from the kitchen. Truly a pleasure working with them both. I can not recommend them highly enough!! I look forward to working with Cielo again in the future. And I thank them for making such a momentous occasion for our family so special.
