I attended a paint and sip at Greenman on a Sunday evening. I had a wonderful time. Food was good drinks were fine and the service was nice. The reason the review is so low is the event ran over by about 20 minutes and my car was towed! I noticed my time was up. Went to the restroom my car was in the parking lot, by the time we made it down stairs, it was gone! I was not the only attendee whose car was towed. I will never go back to this brewery because the main parking area is privately owned and has numerous complaints about the towing. What would have been a wonderful night out with friends ended with a $250 towing bill.

Love Green Man. Great beers. Great location. Great atmosphere. We planned a bar crawl for my daughter’s 22nd bday with about 15 of her college friends. We ended at the Green Mansion. The bartenders were attentive and courteous and went the extra mile to provide our group with a great experience.

Stopped in for a quick drink on a sunny day walking around the South Slope area of downtown Asheville. Excellent brewery with a large downstairs and outdoor upstairs area. Upstairs is covered with nice views of downtown and a little peek of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The beer I had was fresh, tasty and enjoyable. Service was in par with a normal bar/brewery. Definitely a fun spot, especially upstairs on a nice day or evening.

Good brews.

We have been here several times. The upstairs bar and deck are neat. We had a gin and tonic which is a nice change from beer.

It’s some of the best beer in Asheville with a great environment and some of the best staff in Western North Carolina!

Such a disappointing experience. Had a racist encounter with an employee who blatantly disrespected my uncle. We were all standing in line, when a worker asked my friend if my uncle was bothering him, which we were all together. Then was going to ask my uncle to leave for no apparent reason.Although another employee did offer us complementary drinks, we will not be returning to this establishment.

lacey and maddie are the best bartenders

Visited in October 2014. A cozy brewery pub that evoked the feel of a quintessential English middle-class pub. Bustling with activity on a Saturday night, the selection was satisfactory.

This was a fun visit. The kids loved the rock table and found the canning assembly line very interesting.

Amazing brewery to grab a beer and relax. From the views outside to the indoor sitting area upstairs! Plenty of board games and a sand pit filled with rocks to play with! Yummy beers

So after a full day at Greenman with 10 of us spending over $200 I accidentally left my cc there. We live 5.5 hours away and I’ve been calling for a week straight. No one answers and the mailbox is full. I’ve emailed them, messaged on FB and Instagram and not a single reply. Oh by the way, they did remember to close my tab and charge my card and add a tip. I was really trying to avoid cancelling my card. So unprofessional. A place I once enjoyed and frequented I will never return or recommend. How do you not have a phone that connects to a human? Much appreciated. Thanks ??

The beer is good, always has been. If I was rating just the beer I would give it 4 stars. I'm specifically reviewing the location. The guy that waited on us upstairs was too cool to be serving anyone. I felt like I was bothering him to place my order. The bar was empty and he told me to let him know when I was ready to order, as he turned his back to me. The food was bad, specifically fish and chips as well as the shrimp poboy. I'll continue to skip this place when I'm visiting the south slope.
