As I write this, I am thinking about when I can visit this truck again for more gumbo. A perfect fit for the cool weather but delicious anytime. This is our first visit to this truck while it was parked at Palisades Apt in South AVL. Grush and Panda opened this business a few months back and have plenty of reviews on another major site. Had to add this business to Yelp to get the word out for the locals. My gumbo order was plentiful and could easily be shared. Totally filling for a meal, however. My partner raved about the shrimp sandwich especially the slaw. Panda was friendly and shared some info on how this concept got off the ground. This place rips. Had the red beans n' rice + boudin balls and it was one of the best meals I've had in town all year. Everything was super flavorful and authentic tasting. 1 million percent going back and trying everything else - pumped to have some legit cajun food in town!

Such good food. I love a good food truck or street vendor, but Grush will wow you with some of his stuff. One of the best burgers i’ve ever had. And the cajun red beans n rice is on point. This guy has a way with flavors and you can tell he loves cooking. Whenever i see his food truck, i’m definitely stopping to eat.

Hands down the best Cajun food you'll ever find this far north of the Mississippi River basin. The fried boudain balls are to die for! The muffaletta was so fat it made the sensor in my passenger seat car go off as if someone was sitting in it without their seat belt on.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: The employees and owners are so great with my nephew!
