I had no clue that breakfast was over at 10. I was there at 9:58 and they still sat us!!! I felt horrible but they were insistent we stay. The food was so good especially the Cuban. The restaurant is so nice and peaceful as well.

Fantastic view! Lousy service and undercooked food. Have a drink and take a pic but eat elsewhere.

Came in on a weekday morning and there only appeared to be one lady working as a server, hostess, etc. Which caused me to wait to be seated, but she was friendly and efficient once seated. The menu looked amazing and it was tough to decide, so I opted for their Cubano. The views are nice from here, being higher up in a building, so you can see the mountains off in the distance. The food was ok, nothing special, as my Cubano was very dry, both meat and bread. The eggs that were supposed to come with it never showed up. The yuca was good though.

We had the most delicious dinner of arroz con pollo (perfectly cooked chicken with the most delicious rice and fried plantains) and camarones con coco. Eman was the most attentive, kind server who gave us great recommendations and checked us on us the perfect amount of times. Thank you Eman for taking good care of us! You’re the best!

I crossed the street and went up because theSalsa that I heard live from the street attracted me, I got on thinking I would be dancing while the food arrived, but sadly they come very early and leave VERY EARLY! I would love to enjoy this delicious place with its native music from 4:30 pm onwards to be able to make the perfect match, Cuban food and live Cuban music. Divine!! Let me tell you that I belong to a great group of dancers and we would be delighted to enjoy this this season. Thank you ??

It was a shame of a face that we had to keep as we brought some people from far away to this place. Understanding the rush hour, it felt like the service was falling apart.. abd looked like shaming for requesting to ask for the status of the order. Sad experience.. and people working around looked like not giving any damn about it..

If you are in Asheville and want amazing food, a spectacular view in a happening setting topped off with a staff that makes you feel like a cherished friend, then it's Hemingway's Cafe where you want to be. Our server, Ally, could not have been better. When she learned one of us was celebrating a birthday, she added the little touches, including surprising us with a gorgeous dessert. The chef came by and chatted with us. Apart from his considerable culinary talent, he clearly loves what he does and checks in with guests to make sure everyone is being well served and well treated. Great space with good energy as well.Safety: This is in Downtown Asheville in an extremely safe section of town.Food & drinks: Full bar with a creative mixologist.

The food was absolutely fantastic and the portions were incredibly generous. The rooftop views were breathtaking - a perfect backdrop for our meal. We started with the tostones appetizer and it was so delicious that we couldn't resist ordering more. The beef and tomato medley was bursting with flavors that made our taste buds dance with joy. While the pork was a bit dry, the Arroz con Pollo was utterly mouth-watering and we couldn't get enough of it. We also indulged in the camarones salad, which was not only huge but also incredibly fresh and tasty. We were so full that we had to pack some for lunch the next day.? The drinks were good, but some of them seemed pre-made. Nevertheless, it was a great experience overall that we will definitely treasure!

I didn't stay at the hotel, but enjoyed the dining on the fourth floor. The French toast was probably the best I've had. It was like black Friday in my mouth. The French toast piling in and there was nothing I could do to stop it. I got the peach drink (forget the name, had thyme in it). So good. My wife enjoyed her breakfast and drink as well. Our first restaurant experience in NC was a hit.

Staff is friendly, great views, food is okay but overpriced because of the hotel. $8 for a generic pilsner + $23 for a dinner with no sides is robbery. Everytime I have gone the meat has been tasty but also very dry. I gave it enough chances, I wont return.

Ahhh, this was a weekend quick trip to Ashville, NC to celebratemy 45th birthday. Rooftop dining with beautiful mountain scenery is lovely on a warm sunny afternoon. The food was delicious. My husband had the double burger with their dill mayo. I had the Cuban ham sandwich with jalapeño BBQ sauce. The fries weren't too greasy and accompanied the sandwiches just right. Other than the service being snail paced slow, this outdoor dining was a success ?. We enjoyed sipping on fresh lemonade and just taking in the warm fresh air from the sun's golden rays. A picturesque view is worth striking a few poses for. Certainly wait on a table that allows you to behold the view of the mountain peaks from abroad, as you won't regret it! We also met another lady there who was celebrating her 65th birthday and wanted a few poses with the mountains as her backdrop. A very popular place to say Happy birthday with a captivating view.

We had a fantastic meal (empanadas and tacos) but our experience was made even better by our excellent server, Xochitl. She is a gem, and so is this restaurant!

Given the low averages I'm seeing for this place, I'm glad someone recommended it to me, because I would have otherwise skipped this joint. But we came in for dinner last night and it was basically the perfect meal. Great service from a woman named Ally. Kid food that exceeded expectations; my son got the grilled cheese with fries, and my daughter got the butter noodles with rice, and both were in hog heaven. The ham croquettes were good, but the sauce they were sitting on was even better. My wife and I split the vaca frita entree, with broccolini and the plantain chips...that beef was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. We chased the dinner with two orders of the churros and I had to rip the "Daddy Share" of that dessert away from the kids to ensure I got enough. And, we didn't really even get the views because we ate at 8:45 PM on a Thursday. If you come during the day, the views are definitely a selling point. I'm not sure if I just ordered better than most, if we got lucky, or what. But I'll be coming back here for sure!
