Stopped in here for a late night snack on a Friday night. Not very busy, and they had people in the dining area. After waiting in the front for 10 minutes someone came out and said it's takeout only. Hell no post something on the door. Would not recommend this place they are way under staffed, or just lazy.

Maybe new management, our most recent experience was not great. We won't be back for a while.
Hubby and I went for a quick bite to eat for his lunch break. Now the service was good not great, but the food which was basic pancakes (cold) eggs (cold) hash browns (cold) sausage (nasty) glass of water (refreshing). Needless to say we will not be returning, thanks for the good service tho.

Full disclosure: I haven't been to many IHOP locations I hated so the food was always going to get 5 stars, but this place is a real winner on service.Post covid we are all used to restaurants being short handed, but Carlton waited on my table 2 times and the first time he handled a shorthanded day with everything going wrong in a rush hour so well I loved being seated in his section when I came back. If I were him I would have quit.

Omg.....where do I start?!? We stood at the front counter for TEN MINUTES waiting to just be greeted, then she didn't even apologize or ask where we wanted to sit.... she grabbed a couple menus, and said "yeah, you have to sit in here", threw the menus down and walked away.The waiter took our order and we waited 25 minutes to get our food. DO NOT ORDER THE SPINACH & MUSHROOM OMELETTE --which I ordered because it sounded healthy. It had tons of cheese and sauces on it....and it was not good.In Asheville the motto is " NEVER go to a chain restaurant".....and we do just go to local restaurants.....and now I know why.Oh, yes.....the bathrooms were pigstyes, and one sink had hot water running, so I burned myself when I tried to wash my hands. *sigh*
