We had a delightful meal for a reunion of sorts. I chose Laughing Seed because only one of our party of six is a vegan, the rest "omnivores." We each ordered something different from the menu, and everyone loved their meals. I have eaten here several times before and always enjoy the great food and the pleasant ambiance. Our waiter was gracious. He was patient as we all gathered and caught up with each other. He was kind enough to take a photo of us at the table and was thoughtful enough to suggest taking another photo by the mural after our meal. Table photos are always awful, with the people in front huge and the ones in back tiny. So I appreciate that he volunteered to get a good photo of us all. A nice momento of a wonderful evening.

This was such a quaint place to frequent just in the nick of time. I sat at the bar and the service was great. I had a glass of wine with a side of avocado and a side of homemade fries. They were amazing!!! The fries were SO light and non greasy! I would definitely recommend these items if you were to visit. Until next time, cheers!

Great vegan food, friendly and good service in a sweet location in downtown Asheville. We really enjoy the soba noodle dish and the buffalo slider, the brussel sprouts were super yummy too!

This was a party for the tongue! The reuben with tempeh was really flavorful and the ensalada tostada with creamy chipotle dressing was yummy as well! Wish I could have tried more meals here!The service was a little slow though (getting our order in and receiving the food and later the bill took a while). Still 5 stars because the food was so good!Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian ❤️

Five stars isn't enough for this place!! Everything we had from the curry to the Reuben and loaded fries was outstanding. The patio was nicely heated and we could comfortably have our two dogs with us. The staff was delightful as well. Can't wait to come back!!

First time we were here, eating on the patio with a half dozen friends who are regulars. Everyone's food looked beautiful, and our choices were excellent. Eager to go back and try some of the small plates.
The food here is decent, but the tipping policy is hostile - the minimum suggested tip option is 20% on the receipt, but they also quietly add a 3% kitchen tip to the bill as well that isn't called out. Making the suggested tips secretly start at 23%. Nothing wrong with the cafe aside from this though.
