My “food” rating is actually for the drinks — Little Jumbo is my favorite cocktail bar in Asheville.Parking: Parking across the street at Five Points Restaurant (which is closed when Little Jumbo is open). I’ve never had a problem finding a spot.

Little Jumbo is my favorite neighborhood bar. With the most lovely and personable staff, a fantastic selection of spirits (and N/A options!), a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and events like jazz nights, readings, and monthly dance parties, this place has it all. I always look forward to seeing these people. <3

Sat at the bar last night with a friend and had the delightful experience of Evan as our bartender! Evan was welcoming, kind, and as gracious of a host as he was in his attention to detail and talent in making our delicious drinks. Not only was Evan wonderful but the entire vibe and decor is welcoming, unique, a little vintage-y and just cool. From the glassware and cute vintage couches to the thoughtful sign in the bathrooms (Iykyk), Little Jumbo is DEFINITELY a go-to if you are in the Asheville area! Thank you again Evan!

Little hipster type joint, but nice because it's not too downtown.

The staff here are incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their craft. You could give them an unanswerable riddle and they could craft a cocktail that would answer it.Kid-friendliness: Not a place for children.Wheelchair accessibility: Anyone in a wheelchair should have no problem getting around in this bar unless there is music happening, at which point it is pretty difficult to navigate without a wheelchair.

My wife and I stumbled upon this hidden gem during our recent visit to Asheville, and I can't stop raving about it. This small cocktail bar exceeded our expectations in every aspect, making it a memorable highlight of our trip.First and foremost, let's talk about Michael, the bartender. His knowledge and passion for mixology were evident from the moment we sat down. He took the time to explain the menu, recommended drinks based on our preferences, and even shared some fascinating stories behind the concoctions. Michael's friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our experience, making us feel right at home. The drink selection at this place is nothing short of amazing. From classic cocktails to innovative blends, the variety catered to all tastes. Each drink we tried was crafted with precision, showcasing the bartender's skill and the quality of the ingredients. It's clear that they take pride in their craft, and it reflects in every sip. Now, let's talk about the prices. Considering the top-notch quality of the drinks and the prime location in Asheville, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. We felt like we were getting great value for our money, which is always a plus when you find a spot that delivers both quality and affordability. The vibe and ambiance of the bar were just what we were looking for. The intimate setting and lighting created a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Asheville.Little Jumbo is a true gem in Asheville's cocktail scene, and I can't wait to visit again. Cheers to a delightful evening!

You’ll feel like you walked into a friends place. Wonderful bartenders and clientele. Great music on Monday and Tuesday. Classic and inventive cocktails. And room for gathering with friends. A plus is the delicious taco truck Taco Billy’s parked out back with meat and vegan options. Highly recommend Little Jumbo!Parking: Plenty of parking at a lot indicating Little Jumbo parking near 5 Points Restaurant across the street.

I had my proposal after-party here and the very kind people at Little Jumbo were very accommodating! They reserved a space for us, set out a sign congratulating us, and were very hospitable to make sure we had an excellent time with our friends. The vibes in this place are one-of-a-kind in the area and I highly recommend a visit, special occasion or not!
