The food was decent, but service was slow. I came very close to leaving before I even got a chance to order.

Quick to be seated. We were not confident that we would get what we ordered, she seemed confused. We ordered chicken fajitas for 2. The tortillas texture was not great, not sure if they make their own. Chicken not season well enough. Refried beans tasted good but a little runny. We like the salsa bar.

The lunch was amazing, had a beautiful daiquiri to go with it which was delicious. It could have used an extra shot but otherwise fantastic. The Carnitas lunch dish was absolutely delicious! The chips are served with bean dip which was perfectly seasoned not bland at all!! And they offer a nice little salsa bar with about 8 different salsas. I will definitely be going back again in the future!

Ordered drinks and food to go. Don’t have trays for the drinks. Then got an attitude with me about it. Last time going here

Take it from a true Texican, this is the closest to real tex-mex around AVL. Authentic and delicious. Never disappointed. Try the jalapeno fajitas with steak or the carne asada taco(s)! Salsa bar way better than the popular cali-mex chain that's all around WNC. Drinks always on point and always some kind of special.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. Right portions and price.

Varied menu and drink options. The guacamole was outstanding but the chicken dish I had was a little messy on the plate. I'll get the tacos next time. The Freida pictures everywhere delighted me. We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options

It's a bit hard to navigate to in heavy traffic using the signs from the interstate, but was well worth the drive since it's near the WNC Nature Center in a very nice location. The bean dip served with the chips was phenomenal! Way better than salsa, and I continued enjoying a 2nd round of dip with my vegan avocado tacos. These had soft shells, toasted to perfection and were delicious- best tacos I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: The avocado tacos can be ordered vegan without the cheese, sour cream, etc and I presume most of the vegetarian menu items can also be ordered vegan.
