A very pleasant cafe. I can vouch for the drip coffee and delicious lavender honey syrup. The savory danish was tasty too. I like that there is elbow room, not too tight like some cafés. Outdoor seating and pet friendly too.

I was asking questions about the orange cardamom and building an order with the barista and was amazed by how knowledgeable and considerate she was. Great drinks and great prices as well. I love the high ceiling too! Reminds me of coffee shops in my home town :)

LOVED the inside, seating offerings and flavor options.Pros: Inside is huge, high ceilings with awesome music playing. Barista was very nice and helped choose an option. Their flavor options are unique and fantastic. I would love to come here and hangout with friends. Art on the latte was appreciated.Cons: While the added flavors came through and were nice, the espresso fell short. In the iced latte, the coloring was light as if it maybe only had one shot in it. The same with the hot latte, espresso didn't come through much. It was texturized well, just tasted of milk and light coffee.

Trade and Lore is the perfect spot to grab a coffee downtown. We were in the area exploring and needed some serious caffeine sustenance. At the time (super late review, I'm sorry!!) the shop was still limited to the socially distanced inside menu (order was online only) or at the small takeout window outside. But it looks like the cozy indoor shop has since reopened so I can't wait to stop back in again soon! The barista recommended I try the seasonal Pecan Pie Latte since it wasn't too sweet (although any drink can be adjusted to be less sweet if you prefer) and it was just what I needed: hot and frothy and not too sweet on a cold December morning. Thanks for keeping us socially distanced even through 2021, Trade & Lore! Can't wait to stop back in next time I'm in Asheville!

The service has always been some of the sweetest humans, I always walk out of there feeling warm. They are so nice and friendly and helpful. The drinks are some of the best in Ashevilles cafes. 10000% recommend this spot. It's such a sweet and clean atmosphere as well! Of the treats I've tried from them it's always been so yummy! I had a muffin once that I wish I could go back daily for. Favorite cafe in Asheville for sure

Thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and muffins at this shop. Being owners of our own coffee shop company we always visit locally owned shops when on vacation. I would definitely check these guys out the coffee used as the espresso created a nice fruity sweet finish to my latte.

Went to Trade and Lore to work for afternoon with my furry companion. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming to both of us. I enjoyed an amazing latte while my doggy enjoyed lots of attention and petting from the staff. Would highly recommend this spot.

The cappuccino here was absolutely delicious. The beans were roasted to perfection and the coffee aroma was decadent. Pair that with the cool and cozy ambiance of the cafe it’s just to die for. This is a great place for a date a hang with friends or spot to sit by your self and contemplate on things. Do check it out.
