Overpriced tourist trap. The staff talkedway too loud and the tables were sticky. The miniature crepes were good.

Cute little place. Crêpes were really tasty and they have a wide selection. You can tell they are made fresh on order. We got the ladybug and the AshVegas. Yum!!!

Disgusted I spent my money here. After spending two hours researching gluten free options at local restaurants this morning, I decided on twisted crepe. I rehearsed my order the whole car ride however when I got to the counter I failed to mention the one vital part of the order. I’m allergic to wheat and gluten. It was a Togo order, so as soon as I opened the box and realized my mistake I called twisted crepe and was essentially told you can reorder and purchase a new order but no we cannot fix it for you. I hoped that maybe they just didn’t understand what I was asking over the phone, and maybe thought I was trying to get free food or that I was trying to get out of the gluten-free up-charge, so I went back in person with the food in hand and when they said they wouldn’t fix it I asked for a refund. The manager came in and basically said sorry it’s your fault tough luck. I tried explaining if I had dined in I would have sent it back to the kitchen so I don’t understand why the same respect is not given to a Togo costumer. He tried to claim cost but I’m sorry everyone accounts for food waste. I didn’t bring the food back because I didn’t like it or I accidentally ordered one dish but later decided I wanted a different dish. I have a food allergy and gluten intolerance. The 36$ of food was worthless to me unless I want to be sick the next few days. Again he told me I could pay for the order again to which I admitted that I had spent my last 40$ there that morning (and tipped) and that I didn’t have the $ to buy it again. He told me I should give the food to the homeless. At that I got up and left leaving the food on the counter. It was just shocking that he cared more about the food not going to waste and that a homeless person deserved it, but I a paying customer didn’t deserve to have my order corrected that I couldn’t eat because I’m allergic to it and don’t want widespread inflammation and debilitating GI issues for a freaking crepe. I understand it was my mistake that I forgot to communicate that with the order taker. But it’s disheartening when people start caring more about the money they can line their pockets with rather than the community/person in front of them. He doesn’t know I haven’t been able to eat solids in about a week and don’t have the energy to cook for myself and was trying to lift my spirits and treat myself, he doesn’t even know if my allergies are real, and he definitely didn’t realize how insulting his suggestion to feed it to the homeless would be considering I am one decision away from homelessness everyday. I probably should have just went to the store, but I wouldn’t have had energy to prepare the energy after I bought it. Business is business, I get that. I’ve just never caused such an uproar over accommodating an allergy in my whole 10 years in the food service industry and neither has any restaurant I’ve worked for. Regardless of if the person let me know up front or not. Because I cared more about their physical safety than money or inconveniences to me or the kitchen. Food looked great but I won’t be returning to try any of their gluten free options after this horrible experience.Dietary restrictions: Poorly handles

I am on the brink of being homeless myself, I literally live in a barn and although I am very thankful for the shelter regardless of the form it comes in. We had a couple of gluten free crepes here and they were both phenomenal ? We had a little trouble getting our order through because of a language barrier but otherwise we had a really great experience here.

The crepes are good, but the coffee is inconsistent and the prices are a tad high for what they serve. Would recommend it for a quick morning bite (Reese's Cup crepe is delish!) but will likely head to another spot in AVL for coffee moving forward. The service is always friendly and location is convenient!

Perfect spot for breakfast or lunch! Tasted very fresh and similar to what I’ve had in Paris! Especially the lemon! Soo good! The savory were also so very good and flavorful! Very generous portions and lovely, kind service! Loved our visit here!
