Delicious burgers and great selection of craft beers. French fries were really good. Fund bar atmosphere since it's a converted train station. Outdoor accommodation for smoking.

Lot of good reviews so we tried it. Food and service were top notch. That is the end of the good. We had the Ahi Tuna wontons. Should be called wonton filled with slaw. Each wonton, 3 of them, had a sliver piece of tuna, I'd say 1mm thick by about 3cm. To small to taste. Way overpriced for what you get. Poor beer selection and the ones on tap not very good. We'll pass on this place next time we're in town.

Enjoyed a delightful dinner with my family. The food was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Plus, the prices were reasonable.

Party of 12 of us stopped by on a Thursday afternoon. Our bartenders Hannah and John were all over it. Everyone had a cocktail within minutes and our food came out right away. I can't say enough about the service that John and Hannah provided, while also managing the rest of the bar area. The cocktails were solid pours and delicious with the NY Sour being a standout. The pub food was similarly delicious - the onions were said to be "the best I've ever had" by several of us. The fish and chips were super flaky and light and use the same batter made with French Broad Kolsch beer that is fantastic - no greasiness that you might expect. The hand-cut fries were super tasty - especially with a splash of malt vinegar. The Cowboy Cuban with brisket was superb as was the "Fettichoke". The Yelp! rating is what brought our group in and is really well-earned here at Wayside. If you're in the Biltmore Village area and looking for a great spot for craft beer, cocktails, and quick/tasty food - come to Wayside.

We were visiting the Biltmore Village area (shopping and dining) when we spotted this restaurant located in the old train depot. Double checking with my fellow Yelpers, the site had good reviews so we gave it a try. We both ordered a cup of soup - today's special was cheesy (feta) tomato basil and it was excellent. I had cabbage rolls - served with mashed potatoes. Outside of some ethnic restaurants, it's a little unusual to find cabbage rolls on a restaurant menu. The Village Wayside's preparation of the cabbage rolls was spot-on and reminded me of ones I used to get in some old Polish and Hungarian restaurants back in Ohio. My wife ordered the teriyaki glazed salmon with the vegetable medley. She's quite picky about her salmon and said this was excellent. Service was excellent and the food was excellent.

Food was mediocre at best. Service was good and the atmosphere is great. Went there twice. Wouldn’t go back as there are better places to eat.

Do not order the Onion Rings for an extra cost. You will get 3 and be charged $2.99. Other than the annoying service staff, you actually might like it.

A couple of my friends wanted to meet here for lunch during our lunch break. We called our order in because we work in a healthcare setting and didn’t know if we would have time to dine in. We asked the worker if we got there in time would it be okay to dine in with our Togo boxes in which they responded it wouldn’t be a problem. When we arrived there was only a few guest and it was pretty open and the host asked if we had enough time to dine in with our togo order, in which we said yes.We finished dining, we tipped our server for bringing drinks and additional food items that were ordered. When walking out we were followed and then stopped by the host telling us that it was unacceptable on the way we ordered Togo and dined in (when they told us it was okay and no problem). He definitely put a damper on all our moods and we know for sure not to come back since a big deal was made.
