Wonderful experience here recently with my wife for dinner. The server made superb wine suggestions, plus she was completely attentive to dietary restrictions with regard to menu items & their ingredients. She checked things with the chef for details & worked with us successfully for helpful tweaks for items where possible, while being clear which items could not be adjusted. The menu items were all delicious & we took several items home, enjoying them later.

Zambras was one of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to in Asheville. Wasn’t even planning on going until we had change in plans and boy am I so grateful for it. The tapas style was really fun to split everything and after 5 tapas we were very full and satisfied. The pomegranate mango pork spring rolls were to die for. Also the fried soft shell crab was so delicious with a very tasty sauce with Serrano ham on top. The lemon and egg soup was another fantastic tapa. The atmosphere there was very vibey and cozy, felt like we were in a cool underground cave, and even the music playing was so good. The lamb meatballs and patatas bravas were the other dishes we got and those were also phenomenal. I will absolutely be going back and taking more friends and family there to try!!

My wife and I like Tapas and this was right up there with the best. Great food, great service. Tues night and it was quiet but that didn't distract from the ambience of the restaurant. I will definitely recommend.

Tasteless overpriced food and unbearably slow service. Don't waste your time and money. So many better places in Asheville.

Excellent. The bread and oil was amazing, although i think the crust could have been a little less stiff. Scallops were very good as well, although 22$ for 3 seems a little high but they were still great. Ambience was amazing and our server was helpful without being too forward. I cant recall if the olives mentioned that they had pits, but we weren’t aware and we ordered them to eat with our bread but they posed a little challenge. Nothing we couldn’t handle lol. We spent about 65$ on olives, local bread and oil, shrimp, scallops, and patatas bravas.

We ate here last night with a group of 8! The food was incredible. My favorite was the tuna tartare. I order this dish nearly everywhere I go and this was the best I’ve had! I loved the overall ambiance of the restaurant and service was great! I would definitely eat here again when I’m in the Asheville area.

Fantastic place for well-crafted amazing cocktails in a dark, cozy, romantic atmo. Great for food sharing and eating small plates at your own pace. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants/bars in Asheville.

We enjoyed a nice meal and then made the mistake of using their bathrooms before leaving. They were not only dirty but even worse, took our breathe away from the use of toxic synthetic air freshener. It seemed like we were in a gas station bathroom instead of a bathroom in a supposed fine dining establishment. They should not only clean their bathrooms but also, if they stink that bad, put in fresh cut flowers like Asiatic Day Lillies or in the very least, use some nontoxic essential oils. We both left queasy and had headaches. You seriously need to step up your game.

Had reservations for a high top at 6pm on a Thursday. Maybe 20 customers in the whole restaurant and they sat us on a couch in the back corner beside two people which was in no way a high top and any way to spend a date night with my wife. Moved to the bar and found the bartender to be somewhat antisocial. The worst part is the bathrooms. This meal was $200 and the bathrooms were worse than any dive bar I've ever been in. Desperate need of upgrades and at the very least to be cleaned. The food was good but I will likely spend my money somewhere else next time.

Amazing place!! Recommend making a rez as it seems this place fills up quickly. Very cool atmosphere; a cozy place to relax and enjoy some small bites. Started off with a great wine rec from our attentive and helpful server -- they have an extensive wine by the bottle list, but you can also get it by the glass. In total, our party of two shared 6 tapas and a dessert and we left very full and satisfied! Pacing of the service was great, they brought out two tapas at a time. Would very much recommend the patatas bravas and the brussel sprouts. The tuna dish we had was also delicious! Can't wait to come here again.
