My boyfriend and I adore dining at Nachos; the food consistently impresses us, and the staff is incredibly welcoming. It feels like a cozy, family-oriented spot. When it comes to Mexican cuisine in Carteret County, Nachos is the only place we dine, and we couldn't be happier with it.
We had great service! The food was amazing!! We can’t wait to come back!

I asked our waitress what was in a specific dish. She just shrugged and wouldn't tell me. My husband's fork still had food in it when he unrolled it. Waitress refused to even acknowledge I was there after shrugging the question of what was in the dish and spent the rest of her shift sitting on the stairs on her phone. Was able to get a waiter to give my husband a new fork. I'm giving 2 stars b/c my husband enjoyed his food. Mine was the soggiest quesadilla I've ever tried to eat.

The service was excellent however the food just didn't match the level of service. The rice we received was flavorful but dry and the meat in the tacos/fajitas we ordered was absolutely riddled with chewy fat and for the prices paid I could have easily cooked it myself for a cheaper price and higher quality. The wait staff were awesome but the owner needs to be ordering a higher quality level of ingredients instead of what seemed more like beef scraps.

me and a friend went in around 9, but stayed mindful of the fact they close at 9:45 so made sure to finish and were out at 9:30. he forgot his phone on the front desk so we turned around and were back at 9:35, but saw they closed 10 mins early so he’s got no phone until they open tomorrow at 11. not to mention the waitress forgetting to put no rice on what he ordered, and no salt on 2 15 dollar margaritas that had hardly any alcohol. i understand people want to go home but to have this many issues in a 30 minute time frame is wild.

I stopped at El Zarape with my dad and we had a great time at the bar. They had reasonable drink prices. Food was excellent - fajitas and enchiladas. Lots of meat and very filling. We will return again next time we're in Atlantic Beach.Parking: Plenty of parking in front with 2 entrances

If you are reading this consider yourself warned. An overall waste of time and money. I had the crab quesadilla and my wife had the nachos and they were lousy. Also, vegetarian burrito had chicken it.. It had to be bad if I'M writing about it! I gave the food 2 stars, only because the chips/salsa were good. Sorry El Zarape, but that was some of the worst food I've had in a long time.
