“Cool place to eat on Bald Head Island. It's back in the woods so it's cooler than some places near the beach. Good food decent atmosphere, pleasant service. We had a fried shrimp platter with chips. They had some great beer on tap.“

“Once again the pizza was perfect, crispy, thin crusted and just what we needed after a long day floating on the river. We were pleasantly surprised to find the new charcuterie added to the menu since our trip here, same time last year. And in a pizza box! Couldn't be better. Unless you chase it with the frozen lemonade or frose'. Which we did.Vegetarian options: The veggie pizza with white sauce is the best selection on the menu imho.“

“An excellent restaurant and staff. Jess, one of the managers is absolutely top notch. She takes note of the small details and it makes a big impact. Carol, our waitress was excellent and the food was delicious. Most importantly, you instantly feel like you’re amongst friends with this group of folks. “Didn't have food. Drinks were on the expensive side. You do have to pay a $2 entry fee (ownership club thing). But the spot is awesome, the band was good. Inttend to go back.Parking: Friday night was packed. Parking a few blocks away is what we did. It was fine.“

“This is the place at Kure Beach where "everybody knows your name" and the friendships are strong. The reason for my most recent was the Retirement Party for a local guy: one of the Awesome bartenders contacted some of the regulars and we put on a great celebration! Our other Rock Star Bartender was serving Cold beer, there was music on the jukebox, shooting pool - sounds like a typical bar?. Nah- it's better- it's Bud&Joe's!“

“Great addition to downtown Southport with a fun bartender and friendly clientele. Offering a small menu of sandwiches, bowl and apps and dry Prosecco on tap we also found their beer selection to be more than adequate, as well as offering some of our favourite bourbons. Cozy open-to-street atmosphere and open til midnight!“

“No food available here, but you can bring in take out! Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere. Pool tables available. Lots of great live music, including open mic on Wednesdays- but Monday karaoke nights are my favorite! Local-centric but visitors are welcome here!Wheelchair accessibility: High tables, but folding tables and chairs are available. One of our regular Monday night karaoke group uses a wheelchair.“
