My wife and I took a weekend getaway trip to Beaufort and found Historic Grounds. The drinks were top notch, but the people inside were what sold it for us. The staff were so friendly, personable, and shared great suggestions. It was so good, we went back the next day! We will absolutely be back next time we’re in town!

I gave five stars because I don’t want to give them a bad review. But we walked all the way to this coffee shop on a Saturday at 9 o’clock and the doors are locked. It says online that it’s open. So I just wanted to warn other people before they wasted their time. Definitely call first. They may be closed for the season, but the Internet does not indicate this and I saw the people were there last week.

Best coffee I’ve ever had!! Request the iced Cracker Jack lattè with cold foam. I came Beaufort to meet a friend of mine! I stopped into the coffee shop both days I was here. The matcha with the sweet potato cold foam is a perfect balance! The strawberry banana smoothie is also good for non caffeine drinkers. The music is calming and the environment/community are immaculate!!

Historic Grounds is my absolute favorite coffee shop! The atmosphere is so inviting & so are all of the baristas! The coffee is amazing every single time, my go to is the cold brew with any of their delicious flavors topped with cold foam! You can’t go wrong with any of their seasonal drink specials & make sure to grab a fresh baked goodie too!

Beautiful town!! This is an amazing coffee shop!!! The atmosphere is cozy and nautical. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming! It’s absolutely beautiful inside and the coffee is amazing!! Such a smooth rich coffee! They have unique coffee flavors. Would recommend and definitely will come back when in town! Worth the drive if coming from Emerald Isle.

Historic Coffee Grounds knows how to make delicious coffee. They have some of the best, fresh ground hot coffee varieties and make some delicious cold brew concoctions as well. I love the toffee crunch and popcorn cold brews. Favorite place to grab a cup of coffee in Beaufort .
