Looks like the owner hasn't checked out my previous yelp. I was able to get my call in order quickly because a woman told me she had been waiting almost 20 minutes and had to get to church so she left without her food. I then waited only 10 minutes for my number to be called. I am going to yelp about Big Steves for the next few weeks to see if it improves. See my previous post for ways to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

It's a small place, heavily decorated with memorabilia and pictures, and is packed with people as soon as they open--it has very fast-paced service, and you had better know what you want or be prepared to be decisive. This is all because the food is really, really good, and they offer a selection that would appeal to the pickiest eater. The ladies behind the counter got me and my dad in and out in a flash with a pair of steaming bagels loaded with toppings and some sodas. It was an absolutely delicious breakfast, and me and my dad are big fans.

I like the atmosphere and how it feels like a mom and pop place. My boyfriend and I had a very simple order, my bagels came out untoasted in spite of me specifying I wanted toasted bagels. His order came out in a roll instead of a bagel, which was just odd.The wait was pretty long, which would have been fine if our order was correct. It just felt like there were a lot of people doing too many things and it felt a little unorganized.
The guys from Staten Island, and this is pretty much what you get in New York. Delicious! I always get a bakers dozen (which is about 15 bucks) and come home, slice them up, wrap them up with some saran wrap and take them out of the freezer in the morning and throw them right in the toaster. You don't even need to defrost, you just throw it in the toaster and it's just as good as if you're there. Being, I'm from New York, this was a golden gem of a find.
