“The food was excellent--in taste and presentation. Ordered seered cauliflour on quinoa and kale--wonderful! The architecture of the place is interesting and intriguing. Greg and Dianne were musicians who kept us hanging around, drinking and laughing!Prices were a little high, and I wish there was twice the selection.“
“This place was packed for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and the hostess warned us that the kitchen was backed up but we weren't in a rush. My husband had to try the deep fried pickle appetizer which he enjoyed. I asked the server for gluten free options and she was very helpful. When she said they get their gluten free buns made in an Ashville bakery I ordered the Beacon Heights sandwich. It was a BLT with avocado and a special sauce and the best gluten free sandwich I've ever had. It usually comes with fries but they don't have a dedicated fryer so she suggested a side salad which was fresh and tasty. With seating indoors and out this casual eatery is a best bet.“
“Passing through on the way home we had to make a last minute stop in black mountain. I ran in town pump tavern to pass some time why my husband attended a work meeting. My bartender Ariana was absolutely amazing!! The environment is very welcoming and the people talk to you like you have known them forever. We will definitely be back!!Also they don’t take cards! There is an atm inside.“
“Was sent here by a friend for "the best smash burger ever" and it exceeded my high expectations. Pretty sure the bun was brioche, about the size of my hand, and fit the burger perfectly. Chiffonade-cut romaine, tomato, onion, and cheese. It was perfection. Best onion rings of my life. Shoestring! Lightly breaded, so crispy. There's a real good chance I'll be driving 3+ hours from home just to eat here.“
“Beer is great! Food is good enough to eat there - but if you have a kiddo, this is THE place! Took our toddler and the dirt pit with trucks and diggers is amazing! It’s very fenced in so feels safe and comfortable! And their kids meals come with an Honest juice box! Fantastic place. ? ?“
“Brewskies... What can I say about Brewskies.Well the one fact I can share that should speak the loudest for itself is that I am there atleast 3 days a week; and so are most other people you'll find haunting the building.I'm reminded of the old Howard sentiment- The people that love it, the people that hate it and the people that just don't care all come back for the same reason .... they can't wait to see what happens next.So go find out with the rest of em!!!•Daily Drink Specials•Open Mic MOST Monday's•Free Pool Every Thursday•Karaoke Every Friday•OPEN Pool Tournament Every Saturday•"The Backyard" - Outdoor Seating/Smoking Area with Cornhole and horseshoes (bring your own bags/shoes), Firepit, Picknick Tables, Dog Friendly, FREE Access To Local Sunshine and Breeze(Secret Locals Hack - Alishia (The Bartender) If she's working you're gonna have a hard time leaving and you WILL be back cause everything is gucchi when she's slinging brewskies)Vegetarian options: Un-likely to suit any dietary needs... deep fried hotpockets, corn dogs, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks... I don't think anything in the building goes without dead animal parts involved. We apologize in advance to our furry friends... for being so delicious.Dietary restrictions: Again, Un-likely to suit any dietary needs... deep fried hotpockets, corn dogs, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks.Parking: Even if our relatively large lot is full the fire department across the street has plenty of open, safe parking. “My wife, son and I, was passing through on our way to Gatlinburg and my wife being pregnant was very nauseous and i informed the waitress my wife needed fries and they made them fresh and brought them out to the car within 3 minites! The fries were made perfectly and my wife felt way better after eating! Thank you Lisa for rushing my wife the fries!“
“Friendly folks from around the area Plenty of good spirits and music Great outside area with music, Rootball and other cool stuff. We really enjoy Jason the bartender. He is quite the character and is on point with service This place is nothing fancy, it's cozy, laid back and relaxing. No food, you can bring you own or have a pizza delivered. A taco trucks does park outside the bar some nights. No smoking inside but plenty of room outside to smoke. Great place“
“The cook is like 7 stories tall lol. My Frenchie walked right up to him. Dude saved my life he just doesn't know it. I wish they hadn't sold out to the chain hotel. Trash business decision.Vegetarian options: Amazing food selectionDietary restrictions: Great“
“An absolutely wonderful experience at The Station. We just stumbled upon it on our trip to Black Mountain and the Espresso Martini as well as the Aperol Spritz were two of the best cocktails I’ve had. The staff were so fun and welcoming - we had a great time!“
