“For a roadside food truck it's pretty good. I've seen them there for a few weeks and today I decided to stop by. The steak burrito was good and the sauce is nice. Service is fast and the food is hot. I will go back! The burrito was $11.00...“

“Giiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrlllllll when I say the food here is bomb ? I had two empanadas rellenas- one with tinga (spicy chicken) and the other was carne asada. They were both from heaven. Drove through on my way down from Cary and so glad I stopped by. Will def make this drive just to actually have dinner there.“

“Great new spot in Sanford for tacos, burritos and beer. Clean and neat interior with very friendly staff. Food is always as ordered and quickly prepared. Have yet to have a bad meal and discover a new favorite each time. Highly recommend for take-out or dine-in.“

“Wow! Super Impressed! If you have not had the chance to try this place....... Don't wait another minute! ? The restaurant is clean and inviting, delightful fun décor inside! They have a wonderful small little outdoor patio for dining, hanging lights, and music playing really add to the atmosphere! The staff were cheerful and friendly. The customer service was superior! Edmeralda was our server today. She was great at answering questions and making suggestions! The salsa was probably some of the best that I've had in a restaurant anywhere on the East Coast. We ordered 3 different dishes. Every single dish was full of flavor. Honestly, I can not wait to come back! Team Putman has found their new go-to place to eat!“

“Excellent customer service & the food is SO good. My 8 year old is picky but he devoured his chicken and cheese burrito. I enjoyed the steak tacos & my husband had pupusas and chicken tacos. Of course we had to get the lime jarritos to wash it down. We ate our meal in the pavilion, it was very clean and the bathrooms were well maintained. The parking is iffy but as long as you're not a jackass, it's not a problem.“

“First and foremost the food tastes and looks fresh! I’m not from this area and was here for a band competition at the nearby high school. I’m Salvadoran and don’t see often pupusas on a menu. When I got there the lot looked empty only one car. It was about 3:30pm so I figured maybe that’s why it’s not busy. I walked in and a nice gentlemen took my order. 10 minutes later I had my food. I ordered tacos asado and pupusa revuelta with horchata. The pupusas could have had more pork but because the pupusa had other important components it didn’t matter to me. It was soft and slight crisp. Cheesy with what it tasted like some authentic cheese mixed in with mozzarella. The curtido was perfect, fresh. Tacos were just as good and the tortilla was handmade. Didn’t care too much for the red sauce because it was thicker texture BUT it still was flavourful and spicy kick. The horchata is how I like it made with morro. Overall I’m coming back later to order food to take home. Will definitely be coming back and hope to try other items on their menu.Side note this is an Honduran restaurant with Mexican food and it’s a place you shouldn’t miss out on.Sorry no photos, I devoured it. ?“

“I ate two toasts, one with shrimp in black sauce, another with shrimp and octopus, both delicious, exact acidity, lemon and salt, delicious, my recommendation would be to remove the sauces that get rancid in the sun and change the toasts for others that are a little thicker. varieties ?“

“Like another reviewer said this food is blam additive! The quesabirrias is awesome, also ordering quesabirrias on a torta with the Consomme (broth) is amazing. Tortas are not usually my go to but this is so good dipping it in the broth. Don't say I didn't warn you, it will be hard to stay away from this place after you've tried it.“
“Our family decided to try this place on the way to Raleigh and I think I can honestly say we were very surprised. The outside was different but my God did the food make up for it. Extremely well seasoned and cooked they know what they are doing.“

“I wonder if they are aware that not everyone wants chicken tinga. I guess not! Other than that, there's still a bit of variety that I can choose from. My acid reflux and my hernia will not let me have things like chicken tinga or any amount of peppers or jalapeños. I always feels like I accidentally poison myself.“
“Best tortillas in town! I like to go early in the morning to get them fresh off the machine. Tortillas are soft and so yummy. This place is basically just a tortilla stop but they do have snacks and some essentials such as can beans and original Mexican drinks. Very nice folks; courteous and always greet me with a smile. Most of them speak English well, but really don't need to say much just "dos libras por favor" (2 lbs please). But some times they run out of fresh tortillas so the cashier might tell you they only have "frías" (cold ones). They are just as good. I bring them home and heat them up on my griddle on high for a minute each side. They taste delicious. My kid just microwave them for a faster serve.“

“Wonderful Mexican food that’s worth traveling from Raleigh to Sanford! I’ve had both the taquitos and the ACP, and neither disappointed. Husband has gotten the quesabirria combo multiple times and says it’s the best around.Kid-friendliness: They have a small play area in direct eye sight of a few tables. Great for parents to let their kids run around and not be stuck sitting while the adults talk and eat.“

“I've been here for years now and they are simply the repeat go to because they are the only ones that can make the foods the way I like them ! Serves is ok but it will take a lil long when dining in because they do make everything from scratch and when it's the weekend there usually is more of a crowd! It is family oriented for sure. They do serve up some of the best traditional plates and will make se adjustments need be for allergies and special diet plans ! Of your wanting a place that's like a ray of sunshine then this is your spot and at a low cost ! Great date night as well !“

“Excellent place, but I don't understand why they charged me the tip on the bill... it's the "never ending story" between diners and waiters; I pay my 155 dollars and I kindly ask for the ticket again to add the tip and the girl who charged me tells me: "that's fine, it's already added to the account" and I: kaaaaaaa ?!!!!My friend still left 20 dollars on the table, plus what they "voluntarily" charged me (17%), the tip was 33% in total?, I'm still dramatizing, but I'm not rich to give away my money ; I have the habit of always leaving a tip, whether they serve me well or badly... but I don't think it's cool that they charge you a Chinese-style tip, the restaurant is very nice, I felt like I was in Chilangolandia with the very good cumbias they serve, but They ruined my good experience in the end ? I mean, if you go to the restaurant but check your bill before paying.“

“Wow! One of the best meals that I've had hands down in a long time. I tried the pollo guisado for the first time ever and it fully surpassed any expectations. Completely hit the spot, I will definitely be back for more. This place deserves credit!“

“Best authentic food. You ever taste some food and was like you know it had to be some older lady cooking because the food was that good. Well yeah it was THAT GOOD. Walked in and didn't expect it to be that good. You hear the old saying " Don't judge a book by its cover". Well even though the store looked older but the food makes up for that. Was amazing. Highly suggest getting food here. Thank me later.“

“I decided to give this restaurant another go. As like my prior review the food is very tasty as well as large portion size and extremely affordable. But this time the service was very good. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to everyone.“

“Went here last night for the first time. This has always came highly recommended but for some reason we haven’t gone yet. When we drove by it looked really busy with people outside waiting but we put our name on the list and only waited about 20 minutes. They had pagers so we waited in the car. This is by far the best Mexican we have found in the area. Now we are from the north so we are used to a little different Mexican and I’m a bit picky (although I don’t look it) but I enjoyed my burrito (I did sub out a few things) the drinks were fire too! Will for sure come back! Service was very friendly and it was cheap! Under $50 for 2 meals, 2 drinks, guac and even fried ice cream.“
