the tea itself is good, overpriced but good. if you order a large and they are out of large cups they don't tell you, you pay for a large and get a small, a scam if you ask me. if i pay for a large i expect to get a large, if you are out of large cups JUST SAY THAT BEFORE I PAY!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Management sucks and is unprofessional. The aroma of the place is also unpleasant. Smells like farts. Drinks are also extremely overpriced and I’ve heard toppings are expired. If you get any toppings I recommend the boba since it’s the only thing that is definitely fresh. Royal Tea in Alamance Crossing is a good boba cafe!Dietary restrictions: Does not offer dairy alternatives.

I loved the place it was really nice and clean. We even had games to play while waiting. Their was only one person working cash register and making drinks both times I came. I had trouble with my card the staff member was really nice and patient with me. My only convenience was that my tapioca perals were not fresh and were a little hard.. Other than that it was really great and convenient!!

Some people are saying that the poking straw method is susceptible to spills, that the drinks are too syrupy, and the tapioca pearls are too hard. I have an answer to all three of these things as a frequent customer who has waited to give a review!!The poke straw method is definitely a little jarring, but it isn’t hard to avoid spills if you cleanly poke down and do not slam your straw into the drink at mach 10 speeds. Still even then once in awhile it might have a drop or 2 come out so I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea to change this in the future!!The drinks are definitely syrupy but this is also a style of business. I’ve been to many boba places and it kind of depends on their style of making drinks. Some boba places have light tasting drinks while some like to advertise much sweeter ones. This one is on the sweeter side, and that’s a preference in my opinion. Mixing the drinks with syrup helps tremendously! The tapioca pearls are indeed sometimes chewy, and sometimes not. But contrary to a few of these reviews, I’ve never gotten VERY chewy boba pearls that were almost hard.Lastly, the food I will admit is a little bland and a couple of the desserts seem a bit cheap. But most of them are decent and a nice add on!Good staff, atmosphere nice and always clean.

Spontaneous trip after getting my daughter’s nails done on a Sunday and it was a CUTE place. Boba and a smoothie was ordered and it was good. The decor is nice and liked the added touch of the different bobas. The servers were friendly. The place seems to be a nice hangout spot for the college community.

The food tasted horribly, the cupcakes we got were hard and stale, the drinks didn’t taste like the flavor, just the tea that was the base. The only thing that was nice is the layout but for the prices you pay, its definitely not worth unless you like spending money on trash.

One of the better bubble tea places I've tried so far in Greensboro but the boba wasn't very fresh on Thursday.

The taste was good and they were very quick. However the boba pearls were a bit too hard and it was a bit pricey. Also the flavoring was a little lacking. The plastic cup was also incredibly thin and hard to hold on to without squeezing it and having it spill out the top. It seems like they ordered the cheapest thinnest cups possible.

Every time we come to this place the same drink order is different. When I ask for a correction " thats not what you ordered." I go to 3 other local boba tea shops and order our drinks the same way and never have an issue. I ask for boba milk tea and never get the tapioca balls in the drink. One visit the taro is purple, the next time it's brown. If I wanted chocolate, I would order chocolate. We will not be back.

Super cute minimalistic interior, very kind and helpful staff. Personally, when I ordered a lychee milk tea I expected more of a fruitier flavor, more refreshing. I recommend either asking to try some beforehand or get a smoothie instead if you're looking for a nice summer drink, it was rather... "Dark" in flavor compared to how light fruit drinks usually are. Other than that, this place is great! They have extra snacks and desserts, boba, jelly, popping boba, sodas, etc. Wide range of choices on the menu. I've already been twice again since!Dietary restrictions: Dairy friendly, I assume they use lactaid (bobo cafe uses it as well)

I had a great first experience. First off, the design and setup of the store was small and intimate but trendy. The service was swift and efficient and MY taro tea was pretty good. The plastic sealed lid was a tad bit difficult to poke the straw through but no big deal there. Overall, this place has a lot of upside.

The place was very cute and clean inside, but while the menu says "dairy friendly" they do not serve any dairy-free options :((
