The food is literally always a hit. I typically get the salmon patties, broccoli casserole, fried squash or green tomatoes, but everything is good. The girls that work up front could be a little friendlier but they're nice enough. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for some southern cooking. They season their food ?

I recently planned and organized a large (150 people) fundraising banquet for a ministry at my church in Gibsonville and we used Delancey's as our caterer. They were AMAZING. From start to finish, it was a pleasure to work with Brandy to plan a wonderful experience. We had herb baked chicken, roast beef and a vegetarian lasagna, and I must say, there were few leftovers when we finished. Guests enjoyed the meal and we had a lot of comments about this. Delancey's sent more than enough food, both entrees and sides, as well as drinks. The food arrived on time, hot, and stayed hot during the serving. I highly recommend them for catering! Thank you so much, Delancey's!

Food was delicious! Great portions. Homey, comfort food. It's an order at the counter place. Someone brings your food, but you're on your own for getting and refilling your beverage.

Ordered to go for my bosses and I one day and was told to have a seat. Sat there about fifteen minutes, waiting because they were busy and didn't want to bother anyone. Around the 30 minute mark, still nothing. I had to rush my next person to their appointment so I had to leave without food. I called my boss to inform them that I still hadn't been served and I was in the process of taking someone to the doctor. This place is very outdated and seems fitting for the elderly only. On the other occasion I had been there, the food was dry and unseasoned.

I hadn't been in several years until this week - used to work nearby. All the good stuff is still there: hot chips & ranch, baked apples, meatloaf. The ham, turkey, and bacon club is very large and in charge!

Food and portions are good.Wood tables by front windows were sticky.'Wooden edge' of the formica top table we sat at was sticky.I've been to other restaurants over the years that had sticky tables.I'd be aware of that if I was running the place, especially being that close to Lowes. I'd find something over there to fix that sticky situation in the restaurant.

Short version: Food is excellent (especially the desserts). The food is excellent. The food is excellent. There is no atmosphere here, which is fine with me when the food is excellent. No wasted expense on ambience because the food is excellentThe service is perfectly good. No flashy waiters saying "Is your food tasting wonderful this evening?" or other bougie restaurant garbage. The focus is on the food, and the food is excellent.Pop quiz:1) Why would you come here?a) the food is excellentb) the food is excellentc) the food is excellentd) All of the above

I loved the food but my son and his wife couldn't stand the whole place. Her chicken pie was bad but he liked gravy but wouldn't ask to get it put on mashed potatoes.Wheelchair accessibility: I could get into a restaurant and table was fine.

This was absolutely the worse food I have ever seen or eaten. What they call a "chicken pie" is simply cream of chicken soup poured over shredded chicken. Horrible!!! A serious waste of money! I like how they make sure they charge you before you sit down so you won't leave without paying for that nasty mess. I will not be going back!

We decided to try it, and I found it to be an outdated restaurant. The floors had food on them, the tables were sticky, and the benches had food on them. I was not impressed by the food as I had to season it myself. I believe most things are from a can. My fish was lightly battered, but I had to ask for all condiments that would come with a fish plate. The cornbread was overcooked, dry, and not fresh. The desserts looked great, but the same pride was not put in the rest of the food. I could see into the kitchen, which is a no, especially when there is a stainless steel table at the door that was covered to the floor in grim, stainless is easy to clean. I would find it hard to believe the owner is there every day to oversee the daily operations. The menue board was confusing. I don't mind ordering at a counter, but the setup is confusing as you are not sure what to do when you walk in. It makes me feel like it used to have waitresses, but the placement of the counter is off. The positive is that it's not a chain restaurant and needs to survive as I was told it was once a great place.

Fried squash has a good breading...typical southern food the burlington store had uncooked rice in the dish....I regret to even say....
