Great beer selection on tap and very good food for pub food! We sat at a table in the bar area and received excellent service from the bartender. Loved the chicken wings and fish sandwich and they have awesome french fries! Nice neighborhood bar!

I have never drunk here but I have eaten lunch several times. The food is really good and there are a lot of food options. The only reason for 4 stars is the price. Lunch with a tip is around $20 which is too pricey in my opinion. Other than that I have always had a great experience.

Good draft beer, great prices, and specials! The male bartender was nice however the women bartenders seemed snobby...

Hubby and I stopped here for lunch. Hub was disappointed in the Reuben sandwich. Unlike the picture on the menu, there was not much meat on it. The management said he would need to pay an additional charge for more meat as it was preportioned. Instead, my husband ordered a burger and said it was good. I ordered the spring rolls. They were tasty.

There is one server working very hard wearing a Carolina Hurricanes t shirt. She is outstanding! The rest of the staff is awful. One person can’t do all the work and shouldn’t have to. There is another staff member who is way more concerned with her phone than customer service. I will come back but staff attitudes need to be addressed!!!!

Chelsea the bartender was a saint! I came in after the kitchen was closed and this kind unselfish woman fired up the grill without thinking twice. Angel!

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. I ate the Pickled Pepper hamburger and hot chips. The burger was cooked to order, and the toppings were delicious. The hot chips were a little too crispy, but the ranch dressing that I dipped them in gave them the needed moisture. The burger cost about $13 or $14.The website has outdated prices, and many of the menu items on the website weren't listed on the dinner menu we were given at the restaurant. This restaurant is a bar and grille. We entered through the bar and seated ourselves in the dining area outside of the bar area. The music was playing at a nice volume but then was turned up so loud that I could hardly hear the person sitting across from me speak. A guest at another table turned toward me and mouthed, "The music is so loud." I agreed with her and thought to myself that if it was that loud when I arrived, I would have turned around and left.Parking: The restaurant is in a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking available.

Read some recent reviews about sub-par service, so I wanted to write a post suggesting lunch time or slightly off hours instead of dinner. My dad and I went to the Ale House today for a late lunch (arrived around 2:00pm). There were a couple of people at the bar and maybe 2 or 3 other tables with people. The bar tender (didn't catch his name) greeted us promptly and said we could sit anywhere. He was shortly behind us with menus and to take our drink order. Menu is vast with lots of delicious sounding options - I am a pescatarian and was delighted that they were willing to swap out the chicken on one of the salads to the blackened tilapia (+$3). With recommendation from the server, my dad had a bourbon chicken sandwich. Both salad and sandwich were delicious. We also had an order of nachos, they were willing to put the chili (with meat) on the side for us - also very good. It has a little bit of a sports bar atmosphere with many TV's around but volume was quiet and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back and hope that maybe some of the negative reviewers will reconsider and try going back at a quieter hour for better service. Ours was attentive, drinks were refilled, food fast enough, good sense of humor and he was more than helpful and happy to go back to the kitchen and ask specific questions for us. We'll definitely be back again!Vegetarian options: They had a number of salads, veggie wrap, veggie burger, fish and chips, and blackened tilapia + many appetizers/sides that were vegetarian friendly. Also willing to substitute chicken on salads for fish when asked!Dietary restrictions: Server was more than willing to go back to the kitchen and ask if certain substitutions were possible, and they were able to comply! Big thumbs up from me.Parking: Plenty of parking available in the plaza the restaurant is in.
