The Lost Cajun should just get lost. I wanted to like this place, but couldn't. My first visit the service was so terrible and slow I left without getting my meal. I was in the area last night and decided to get a second chance. We all need those from time to time right? It took a few minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Then when we were we ordered drinks. They have wine cocktails so we ordered a sangria and peach Bellini. The sangria tasted vinegary and the peach Bellini looked more like pink lemonade and tasted like water. We then ordered boudin balls which were nearly burnt looking but somehow mushy inside. The sauce was spiced honey mustard. Everyone else's table received a sample, but we had to ask for one and it wasn't worth asking for. The crawfish etouffee tasted fishy and sweet. The jambalaya was so dry and everything else was watered down. My partner ordered the trio (gumbo, red beans and the jambalaya). I ordered the boil. I received two clusters of small dried out crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn and a half piece of sausage. They put their Cajun "dust" on it to cover of the tragedy on the plate. The potatoes looked unwashed like they just dropped them in the pot. The garlic bread was so cold, when I bit it, it crumpled it didn't even have a crunch. They should be ashamed of what came out of that kitchen yesterday. We asked for the check and left. The food was so bad it wasn't even worth sending back. We spend $65 just to have to go out to eat elsewhere. I am sorry I didn't take pics, but it was just so l terrible and I wanted to leave. Beware please find somewhere to spend your money.

So to be honest me and my wife were sooo excited to get to this place and that went down hill very quick. Side bar our server Sloan read awesome now on to the main topic as a local guide we go to many different places and this by far is a place where you order and expect to get one thing and receive something totally different. We order a seafood platter and a shrimp and fish platter along with gator bites. Now when we received our gator bites it was differently on the salty side. And once our main dish came that was the it I had three pieces of fish three small oysters two or three hush puppies and three shrimp. Very dissatisfied with my portions for the amount of money it cost. I get inflation but this was enough for me not to visit this place again. I respect all business owners trying to make a living however we could’ve taken to $65.65 we spent here and went to mayflower and had a full experience. But again we would have left if it wasn’t for Sloan. To pricey for the amount of food.

Red beans and rice didn't miss this girl! I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and finally got it done today, so glad I did and definitely will be going back. I love the fact that they give out a sampling of their Gumbo and Cajun classics so you are never disappointed with what you order. I ended up with the Jambalaya, Red Beans and Rice and Chicken and Sausage. All three were very tasty and filling. It was free appetizer day, so I also got an order of Boudin Balls, which I found delicious as well. Service was impeccable. Dominique and the chef were attentive and worked really well together, food was served fast for everyone in the restaurant. I'm really excited to go back and try the Voodoo Pasta, Po Boys and Shrimp and Grits. For extra fun, read Griff's Story on the website!

Server was attentive and courteous. It was only one cook and our food came out timely. I got the shrimp and grits and they were hot and flavorful! My family enjoyed their food as well especially the Voo Doo dish with sausage and shrimp. Only complaint was that it was really cold.

Loved the atmosphere and decor! We received a chef sample to try out six different dishes. I went with the Lobster Bisque and it was delicious! We also ordered fried okra for an appetizer. Fast service and great food!

Quite a strange experience. Ordered a shrimp Po boy, which I thought would be hard to mess up, but it ended up being small, dry and lacking shrimp. Bread was not tasty as well. Also got a flight of sampler foods. Jambalaya, red beans and rice, other foods. They were not good.

Never been to Louisiana so I have no idea how "authentic" it is- but the food is awesome. From the po boy to the jambalaya it's all great. They even bring out a sampling tray for you to try and decide on their staples.

This place is really authentic and fun. The music and environment really draw you in and make you feel like you're in the bayou. The boudin balls are by far my favorite appetizer. My kids are picky and they scream for this place. The fried catfish and tenders are their favorite. The also have kids night from 5-8pm on Tuesdays. Kids eat free with adult entree with balloon animals and fun.I'd really recommend this place if you like cajun and fun.

A group of 6 of us visited the Lost Cajun on a busy Sunday night with a packed house. Many of us hadn’t been before, including myself. The restaurant was short staffed (maybe 3-4 people total working there) and they were up front about it. Regardless, they all went above and beyond, with a smile, to make our experience great. All of the food was fresh, hot, and accurate to our orders. The apps came out at the same time as the meals but we really didn’t mind considering what they had to work with. Kudos to this team for keeping a challenging situation so positive. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend the fried pickles, lobster bisque, and shrimp and grits.Kid-friendliness: Fun atmosphere, coloring pages and crayons. Even Mardi Gras beads.Parking: Easy, open parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level

Disappointing...we were excited to try a new place but must have caught it on an off day. My son ordered a sampler plate but we were told 20 mins after ordering that they were out of oyster (the whole reason he wanted that dish). We had already been waiting so long, we agreed to just have extra shrimp and fish but neither of those were that great and the plate still cost us $15. I asked for lettuce for my sandwich and got a small sample cup of browning iceberg. They had to-go containers sitting out in the main dining area and I inferred that there were there for guests to grab as needed but the waitress jumped all over us when we took one. I would recommend moving those if you don't intend for people to grab them. All in all, not a great experience for what we paid.

Well the waitress was nice. The food 3 years ago pre-pandemic was amazing!! We went keto so we didn't go for years. We went last week and OMG we will never go back. My jambalaya was broth with 3 pieces of ocra. My wife's catfish was fried breading and about 1/2 ounce of catfish. Enough said. It's a different world now.

The inside of the restaurant was decorated really cute and very clean, felt like being in a restaurant in Louisiana. There were only two employees working but they were nice and service was really quick. When you're seated, you get a sampler of 6 different items to try before ordering. Food was cooked quick and really fresh. A lot of the food was fried but it wasn't oily and the oil seemed fresh not like old oil at all. The fried catfish was some of the best fried fish I've had, so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Cajun fries were perfectly seasoned and so crispy. Everything overall was seasoned perfectly and not too salty. Po boy sandwich, gumbo, and Cajun shrimp pasta were all really good too. Fried pickles were also really good! Definitely recommend this place for Cajun seafood!

The Lost Cajun serves up some pretty tasty Louisiana favorites in a casual, welcoming environment. My husband and I had ordered takeout from Lost Cajun on a previous occasion and I was impressed by their cajun alfredo with shrimp, so I was happy when he suggested visiting them for dine in last night. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a waitress who was incredibly inviting. She let us know that every table receives a sample board of their cajun classics, which includes gumbo, étouffée, lobster bisque, jambalaya, and red beans with spicy sausage. I thought that was a really nice touch and based on the sample, I could see myself ordering the beans or étouffée on a future visit. For this dinner, we ordered the fried pickle appetizer, the shrimp and grits (which is topped with the lobster bisque), and a fried fish and shrimp platter with okra. The appetizer was free with a social media check-in! The grits were really creamy and rich with the addition of bacon and cheese, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I would definitely order this again. The fish and shrimp platter was huge! It could have easily fed two people. I really enjoyed the shrimp and the okra. I thought the fish was tasty but a little thin; I would have loved it if they were thicker fillets. The menu is large with a variety of entrees, salads, and sandwiches and they have smaller servings of some of the dishes. Oh, and they have beignets so I am definitely trying those next time. All in all, I left full and happy.

What a cool taste of the Big Easy right in our little town! Fantastic food choices that you get to sample before ordering and so good. Can't decide on just one??? Get a Trio!
