Next level “Home cooking” ! The food is consistently flavorful and delicious. Servers are consistently polite , efficient and respectful.Be prepared for a short wait for the reasons listed above.My only request would be for more gluten free options on the menu!This restaurant has been around for decades for obvious reasons. If you love country cooking and are in the area for one meal; do yourself a huge favor and stop by! You’ll be thanking me later! ?

I’ve had flounder many times in my life but never a piece with so much skin on it and full of so many bones. Wow! It was pretty much inedible. My husband’s country style steak and gravy looked and tasted like something out of a can and the mashed potatoes and gravy were clearly not homemade. The hush puppies had absolutely no flavor at all. Very disappointing!

Was expecting a little more with other locals raving about it, but I'm not a huge southern food fan. Food was good, service was too. Not very kid friendly though. Only lunch and dinner. We were hoping for more of a brunch menu. Food was definitely reasonably priced though, so that was nice, especially these days.Kid-friendliness: I didn't feel there were many kid-fiendly options besides a burger.

Quaint, charming eatery. The service was pleasant and the food came out fast. The food was good, just needed a little more seasoning. The price point is the real story here. Easily affordable for a lunch date or a family outing.
First time visit and we’ll be back! Food was delicious, serving size was enough for two, pleasant staff, and nicely decorated dining area.
