“If we have Empanadas, I want the Carmel Apple Empanada back!!!!!I'm not a fan of the self-service kiosks, but it makes customizing your order so much easier. When ordering a combo, you can customize which tacos you want. Add chicken or steak, etc. I replaced my cinnatwists with chips and nacho sauce. Also, when you have a group of people, they can order what they want and not have to tell you how they want it. Makes the process easier. The human interaction is gone, but you can have it your way.“
“They really good food, the only thing that was a little annoying was the music in the kitchen and the music playing in the seating area where two different beats and honestly I would rather hear the music in the kitchen being played throughout the entire restaurant.“
“The food is very delicious, my wife and I go to NC once a month and we like to eat there, last Monday we went at 4:30 and it was closed, they had a paper that said they closed from 1 to 3 but they were already past 4 o'clock and no one opened, we returned to South Carolina sad because we couldn't eat our aguachille ?“
“Truly family oriented and owned place with down home pride and care attached to them ! Best place in town to relax unwind and forget about your troubles just come hang out and enjoy the company of really great people while you sample their el rolas platter or go for the fajitas or a good ole homemade tamale and or chili rellenos ! All fresh made daily !!“
“First and foremost the food tastes and looks fresh! I’m not from this area and was here for a band competition at the nearby high school. I’m Salvadoran and don’t see often pupusas on a menu. When I got there the lot looked empty only one car. It was about 3:30pm so I figured maybe that’s why it’s not busy. I walked in and a nice gentlemen took my order. 10 minutes later I had my food. I ordered tacos asado and pupusa revuelta with horchata. The pupusas could have had more pork but because the pupusa had other important components it didn’t matter to me. It was soft and slight crisp. Cheesy with what it tasted like some authentic cheese mixed in with mozzarella. The curtido was perfect, fresh. Tacos were just as good and the tortilla was handmade. Didn’t care too much for the red sauce because it was thicker texture BUT it still was flavourful and spicy kick. The horchata is how I like it made with morro. Overall I’m coming back later to order food to take home. Will definitely be coming back and hope to try other items on their menu.Side note this is an Honduran restaurant with Mexican food and it’s a place you shouldn’t miss out on.Sorry no photos, I devoured it. ?“
“Found on a whim while there for a car show, some of the best Mexican I've ever had and I eat Mexican a lot. Not tex mex, Mexican. Not the fastest place around but well worth the wait. Pretty sure you can sit on the porch on the house behind the building but I just eat in my car as I'm usually on the move when I'm in the area. Love this place, great selection, highly recommend“
“I went to the bar after a long shift the other day and the bartender made my night she made beautiful drinks and so tasty the bartender Briana makes her drinks with love I will be telling all my friend and family about Briana and the drinks she prepares. I highly recommend to come here if you having a bad day Briana sure does knows how to turn your frown upside down?“
“I wonder if they are aware that not everyone wants chicken tinga. I guess not! Other than that, there's still a bit of variety that I can choose from. My acid reflux and my hernia will not let me have things like chicken tinga or any amount of peppers or jalapeños. I always feels like I accidentally poison myself.“
“Best tortillas in town! I like to go early in the morning to get them fresh off the machine. Tortillas are soft and so yummy. This place is basically just a tortilla stop but they do have snacks and some essentials such as can beans and original Mexican drinks. Very nice folks; courteous and always greet me with a smile. Most of them speak English well, but really don't need to say much just "dos libras por favor" (2 lbs please). But some times they run out of fresh tortillas so the cashier might tell you they only have "frías" (cold ones). They are just as good. I bring them home and heat them up on my griddle on high for a minute each side. They taste delicious. My kid just microwave them for a faster serve.“
“Excellent place, but I don't understand why they charged me the tip on the bill... it's the "never ending story" between diners and waiters; I pay my 155 dollars and I kindly ask for the ticket again to add the tip and the girl who charged me tells me: "that's fine, it's already added to the account" and I: kaaaaaaa ?!!!!My friend still left 20 dollars on the table, plus what they "voluntarily" charged me (17%), the tip was 33% in total?, I'm still dramatizing, but I'm not rich to give away my money ; I have the habit of always leaving a tip, whether they serve me well or badly... but I don't think it's cool that they charge you a Chinese-style tip, the restaurant is very nice, I felt like I was in Chilangolandia with the very good cumbias they serve, but They ruined my good experience in the end ? I mean, if you go to the restaurant but check your bill before paying.“
“Quaint Mexican restaurant in Carthage. Prices are very fair. Portions are normal so some may consider them smaller than other Mexican restaurants but we didn't leave "stuffed to the brim" which isn't a bad thing. Service was great!“
“I've been here for years now and they are simply the repeat go to because they are the only ones that can make the foods the way I like them ! Serves is ok but it will take a lil long when dining in because they do make everything from scratch and when it's the weekend there usually is more of a crowd! It is family oriented for sure. They do serve up some of the best traditional plates and will make se adjustments need be for allergies and special diet plans ! Of your wanting a place that's like a ray of sunshine then this is your spot and at a low cost ! Great date night as well !“
“My co worker told me about a ACP and I hadn’t ever heard of it but went to San Felipe in Tramway(better food @ this location) and I keep going back! I did go on Horner but it’s just more flavorful here! From the answering of the phone to the great service, they are always nice and welcoming! Definitely been every week since discovering!“
“Best authentic food. You ever taste some food and was like you know it had to be some older lady cooking because the food was that good. Well yeah it was THAT GOOD. Walked in and didn't expect it to be that good. You hear the old saying " Don't judge a book by its cover". Well even though the store looked older but the food makes up for that. Was amazing. Highly suggest getting food here. Thank me later.“
“This place can be overlooked if you drive pass it. From the outside it doesn’t seem very welcoming but as soon as you step in you are greeted by staff. This place food is so good that everything else doesn’t matter. Their Street Tacos are my favorite because of how simple and yet flavorful it is. You can order from DoorDash but if you’re near just go there it’s much better because your food comes out hot. I have not tried something that I didn’t like. They have Mexican coke a 500ml size. The only thing I didn’t care for was the flan but they don’t make it there. They get their flan from my heavenly sweets in Fayetteville.“
“My wife and I have been here a number of times. The service is always fantastic, the drinks are amazing and the food is absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend. We have never had a bad experience here. My birria tacos didn't stand a chance last time. Even my father found his new favorite Mexican spot in this place, which is difficult to do.???“
