“Shared a dinner with life long friends and a table full of kids. Our waitress Holly was incredible and saw that we were starving and got us going on appetizers and drinks right away. The food was amazing all the way to dessert and we felt so welcome with all the extras as she doted on us.Kid-friendliness: Holly brought out a fun flare candle to wow the kids with dessert “just because” and was completely with their manners which made this mamma proud.“
“Great selection of your typical American Chinese cuisine, and everything I tried - which was a little bit of everything - was good! Do not recommend the sushi as there was very little fish and quite a bit of cream cheese in the rolls. But if you like that sort of thing, it did taste fresh! Prices were reasonable for lunchtime buffet. And most importantly, very clean!“
“First things first, limited space for dining in, mostly a to-go style experience. No, this is not a NY style Chinese food spot, but it is a great "Americanized" spot. I'm sure some things are traditional, but I am no expert, I just love their food.Asian Wok on New Leicester Hwy... is #1 on my list of affordable and tasty AF food spots. When the food is this good you gotta protect it, so it rides shotgun and buckled in. Their roast pork fried rice is our go to, and will change the minds of those that dont normally like yellow fried rice.It is perfectly cooked, not mushy with fresh carrot, peas, and onions with chunks of their roast pork. ? The wife and I almost always get it instead of the white rice when I order large portions. Which I did with my large Xtra Spicy Hunan Chicken and her with the "LUNCH PORTION" of General Tsao Chicken... don't forget that delicious egg drop soup with extra crunchy noodles! The Hunan Chicken is sliced chicken and very fresh vegetables (onions, carrots, zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms, and snow peas) in a savory, salty, and spicy sauce. I always get more of that Hunan Sauce on the side, even when I only get a large order of House Fried Rice, it is that good. Her General Tsao was chunks of breaded chicken in a sweet sauce with a hint of spice, both were huge portions and fresh. All of this food was $34 and some change.. or $40 with tip, because I love the family and I have been going here for around 8 years. Stick to the Chinese food. (Hibachi and others are better at other places).“
“I'm surprised and glad to find an authentic Chinese restaurant in dt asheville. The food was really good (my only quibble was that the rice could be better, but it wasn't super noticeable next to the meats and veggies which were delicious). Good soups, a great variety of options, and very affordable. Probably the most affordable place to eat real cooking in all of Asheville.“
“Very good food, large portion size, good price and still had leftovers. Ordering on the phone was easy, they were very friendly when picking up inside, and the order was ready fast. I'll definitely be back. Parking lot is extremely shady, be careful at night.“
“Food was so delish we finished our entire takeout order. Food portions was awesome for the price of dinner. The lady on the phone was so nice and accommodating to our needs. We ordered:Hot & sour soupVeg and bean curd soupHunan chicken with riceVeg curry with riceSingapore mein fun“
“Nice atmosphere and great service. Walked in and was immediately seated. The variety of the food was excellent. Very fresh and well stocked. Whether you like Seafood, Chicken, or Pork prepared Chinese style; food is excellent! The topping was a well stocked Desert Bar. Service, Food, and atmosphere was excellent! Price was spot on. Good place to experience Chinese Food "Buffet Style"!“
“I have ordered from here so many times, I can't tell you and their egg drop soup saved my life through some terrible illnesses! We get a usual as most people but we also like variety as well. There have been some bad orders, I won't lie, but for the most part even late at night, it's great! Our favorite is kung pao chicken or sweet and sour chicken dinner with the vegetable rice for me and my husband loves the fried chicken wings and "spicy" shrimp fried rice! I can tell you they have always been above average! For an appetizers I order crab Rangoon or steamed dumplings and most always is delicious!“
