Traveling to Virginia, and Googled restaurants. Reminded me of diners from my childhood. My husband and I each ordered the Carolina burger and it didn't disappoint. It was delicious and big! The tea was southern sweet! We will definitely be back. Just remember to bring cash.

We had lunch there , an it is a home atmosphere, food is like your at home, going eat there again today for lunch! We are truck drivers and thank them for being there, prices are great don’t change a thing!
Normally when I come through I order their hamburger all the way and my husband gets the hotdog all the way and usually it be soo delicious but this day our hamburger was half cooked and the portion of fries they gave me a was very small portion !! maybe they have a new cook or just an off day !!!

I got the hamburger steak plate with mashed potatoes n gravy, hush puppies, lima beans, and sweet tea. The plate itself was good, just ok. Nothing mouth watering. I'm not sure how this plate is usually fixed. Last year, it came with bell peppers and onions. Today, it was just bland. I can deal with that. The sweet tea was perfect and light.I gave this a order a 2⭐️ review because of the cake. It looked so delicious and yummy. Looks are deceiving! After the 3rd bite, my tongue started burning, and it tasted like some type of soap. I stopped eating it and threw it away. At this point, my mouth started smelling like some type of cleaning agent.This was too dangerous, not to mention it.
