“What a great find! We were hiking at Chestnut park and I thought about this food the whole time. I couldn’t wait to get down the mountain to eat. I was NOT disappointed!!! The cheesesteak with marinara was to die for, so was my husband’s Italian hoagie. We also tried the meatballs and they melted in our mouths. I could drink the marinara and would travel to NY myself for the bread he imports. The owner is super friendly and helpful and the portions are huge! The cheesecake is great too!”

“Amazing restaurant hidden in the mountains. Food and service were excellent. Ate here after playing Springdale. Great drink options and lots of different menu options. The views on the patio are amazing. It’s right above the pin on the 18th hole. Would recommend you to try even if you’re not golfing.”

“Papertown local restaurant at its best! Haven't had a bad burger yet. My favorite is the Carolina Burger with a side of onion rings. Service is always friendly.03/26/24 - Had the pimento cheese bacon smash burger today with a side of onion rings. Another top notch meal! I wish they would put some furniture slide buttons on the bottoms of the chairs and tables to cut down on the loud screeches when someone pulls out a chair or slides the table. The building is all brick and wood and the acoustics are poor. That not withstanding, it is a great place for lunch or dinner.”

“It's a very unassuming place but you order at the counter and if eating take a seat and they will deliver to the table. I had the ceasar salad, and the dressing was delicious! The small was more than enough. Also, I got the small cheese sticks, and they were great with plenty of cheese. The pizza was The White! The crust was thin and crispy with plenty of fresh toppings. Only wish they had parmesan shakers on table, but probably could have asked. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a while. Employees and owners were friendly, and service was fast. Seemed like most were take out because I was only one in dining room.”

“We love this place and have eaten here multiple times. It is our go to place in Canton. It's homey, the staff are all great. And the food is usually very good. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is last time I had the fried flounder it sure tasted like tilapia. NOT a fish that we like to eat. Try the onion rings! The nightly specials are pretty good too.”

“This is absolutely the best restaurant in town. I’d wager to say it’s the best in WNC… Do yourself a favor and give these fine folks a chance to serve you with great food, great drinks, and even better staff. Top notch from the front of the house, to the bar, kitchen, waitstaff, and management. I am a local business owner myself, and it’s our hometown communities that keep us going. BTW, Beck is AWESOME!!!”

“Happy accident, we were trying to find one of the other locations and didn't realize there was more than one. I really enjoyed my hard lemonade while we watched some pups jumping into the water, living their best lives. Could have spent all day here, will definitely be back. Love the vibe and scenery.”

“We tend to arrive early for lunch and have minimal trouble getting seated and quickly served. The place always fills up by the noon hour and seating is tighter. The server staff have always been friendly and attentive. The choices in smash burgers are many. My new favorite is the Bernice that has just the right amount of A1 sauce applied. Along with onion rings and the Chipotle dipping sauce, this is a fine and filling meal. My only minor complaint is the too loud sound system that can make table level conversation difficult. The server was kind enough to lower the volume upon my request on our last visit. We eat there typically once a week during the work week.”

“Stopped in for a late dinner , really late lol..and first and foremost my waitress...Jessica or jess I think was her name. It was 3 rd shift. But it was by far the best experience I've ever had, she was absolutely perfect...best service I've ever had at any restaurant in my life...she needs to be recognized for her work ethic. If all waitresses and waiters had the same personality as her, the world would be a better place. Plus the food was exactly how I ordered. Hot, fresh, fast and fulfilling. Great job ..”

“Dude yes. Got the teriyaki steak with soba noodles and the noodles aren't super thick and weird. They're thinner and perfect. The meat tastes fresh and the shrimp sauce is ? highly recommend ?”

“Food was great. But the restaurant was dirty. 4 workers standing around the front counter, but water and soda all over the drink dispensing area. Napkins. Straws, and lids we almost out. The floors were slippery, I almost fell. Most of the table's were dirty with dried soda, and food. All that being said,, They were friendly and courteous.”

“We were looking for a late lunch and we found this restaurant nearby.It was late lunch so it was not much crowded, we got big table easily, the server was friendly, the food was tasty, I had Devil Shrimps, it had a good spicy kick to it. Everyone loved their food, good vegetarian options available if you are looking for them.We all loved it.Vegetarian options: Our vegetarian friends were pleasantly surprised to see many options for them.”
