Flew in for lunch on Sunday. So much fun to sit at the airfield and watch people fly in and out. Lots of others drove in after morning services. Took a few extra pounds of BBQ home. Highly recommend.
Nothing like this phenomenal spot. For me, the pulled pork platter with the spicy vinegar sauce is as good as it gets. However, that’s not their only specialty.Situated at a small landing strip in Carthage, the atmosphere outside is part of the experience.Open Thursday-Sunday from 11:30 to 4.Weekends you’ll wait.

By far one of the more unique restaurant experiences in NC! I'm a little bummed that we didn't get to see any planes landing or taking off, but barbecue fixed those feelings so fast.
