Food is excellent! Service a bit slow but it's worth the wait! Love going there and eating outside it's sooo relaxing! Enjoy!

reserved a larger party of 10, 1. the space was freezing cold, no one could take their jackets off to eat. Asked to have heat turned up, they said they could not. 2.waited over 1 hour for food, one person got their soup while we all waited... 3. Food was terrible, ordered pasta faguli soup, that's not what it was ... ordered 2 meatballs that were just gross, took one bite of each thing and left hungry. 4. Pizza's were served cold for other party members 5. One person's ravioli was not cooked all the way 6. Server tried and was pleasant, she needs to find somewhere else to work. 7. Owner spotted back int the kitchen doing shots... Wow, after a long day we were hoping for a great evening out as a group, couldn't get out of there fast enough!

Want to be fair with this review and highlight why 1 star.Ordered 1 Pizza, a large salad, and lasagna. Total bill was $68. Got the order home to find the $27 pizza was not what we ordered, the $12 Cesar salad was made with the yellow parts of old iceberg lettuce( supposed to be romaine), no parmesan cheese, and Italian dressing versus Caesar dressing, and a $20 lasagna that was the size of a deck of cards and looked like leftovers from someone else's meal.Contacted Teresa's and tried to explain the situation but was told to contact the company that processes their online orders "Slice" . Turns out they contact Teresa's who was not willing to take responsibility for their mistake and refund our order. Called back and offered to bring the food back so they could make it right, but apparently that was not an option but they did eventually give a $7 refund for not getting the pizza right. They are a local establishment and was really hopeful for a good experience but unfortunately that was not the case. Cannot recommend Teresa's, especially given all the other great options in Cary for really good, reasonably priced Italian food.

This was the most interesting dinner I've had in a while. Mix of Hispanic and Italian folks in the restaurant. Menu was all Italian. Specials were listed on a chalk board in the back. There was a Mexican dish as part of them: Mix tamales. They start you up with some focaccia bread. That could have been my meal. Excellent!! Can say enough about it. I even ordered a loaf of it and took it home with me. My wife ordered Calamari as an appetizer. It was perfectly made. I had Lasagna for my main dish. The best lasagna I've had in a long time. The other entrée was Tagliotini Bolanese. My wife loved it. They dessert menu has 18 items. 18!! We had the Grandmother Cake. Delicious!!Overall, it was the best surprise we've had in a long time.

Visited a local eatery that transported us to the southern part of Italy for dinner. T's is located in the plaza at the intersection of Maynard rd and Harrison ave. It is on the small side placing seating capacity at 50 ish. Our party was 30, and we were the only game in town, with the exception being a family of 6.On the eve of our excursion, I read a handful of reviews and they were mixed. Our server, Colachetta (?), was engaging, and gave us the history of the cuisine and restaurant. (Formerly Alex's-Teresa took over for A 3 years ago)Teresa addressed the crowd and took orders. She began by saying it would be awhile due to cooking from scratch with fresh items. The menu is fairly extensive and does not have many of the Italian-American staples. While waiting, for 1 hour 45 minutes, I enjoyed the fresh rosemary bread dipping it into my concoction of red pepper infused olive oil and a ton of parm cheese! (Oh yeah)Starving, nursing my glasses of aqua sans cubes, I finally received my Veal Saltimbocca. I was very excited as this is a childhood fav. It greatly missed the mark. It was lukewarm, taste was bland, and paucity of portion left me hangry. Overall, It was an enjoyable evening due to the fellowship not the venue. Prices are steep too. Suffice it to say, my next italian sojourn will not be to southern Italy with Teresa.

I'm not sure I've ever had worse Italian food and service. I could go on and on but those reviews get boring. D- on service (waiter had no clue what the dishes were made with) D- waited for 90 mins for a table of 4 who ordered a pizza (which they forgot to put in) spaghetti w/butter the toughest veal you'll ever have and a chicken with a flour mushroom sauce that was painful F - hair in the spaghetti F - on management never coming by to even say sorry bad night let me offer something to make up for it. Go to Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or a garbage can in little Italy in NYC. You'll do much better.

Teresa is a wonderful host. Our group of 12 was there prior to my daughter's wedding weekend and Teresa treated us like family. The food is very authentic and fresh and it is like visiting someone's home in Italy. There are wonderful specials and a dessert list as long as your arm. The dishes were all quite tasty. I had a linguine with marinara sauce and bits of octopus that was super flavorful and a little spicy. There is a pistachio cake that is to die for.

The owners are also the servers. It was a warm and fun experience for our group. It is not fine dining service, it is friends waiting on friends. Teresa took the time to chat with us about the menu and answer any questions we had. We were very pleased with everything that came to the table. The appetizers and wine came out promptly. We had 14 guests. I was impressed that our main course dishes were delivered to the table all at once. Everyone was very happy with their meals. My seafood stew was absolute perfection. In keeping with the family atmosphere, Teresa's partner chided me for not finishing all my broth! LOL We had delicious cannoli for dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It is a unique experience.

We took out of town family here yesterday for lunch. What a wonderful, warm and generous welcome we experienced. We shared two large pizzas and a bottle of wine which were both wonderful. We will be back.

Tried this place in a small Walmart strip mall at the corner of Harrison and Maynard for the first time for dinner.A bottle of water and fresh bread was put on my table quickly. There is olive oil on the table with spices in it, but you can ask for plain olive oil if you prefer the plain. There was a small bowl of parm cheese on the table as well. Much nicer than a shaker that most places have. There was white tablecloths on the tables and cloth napkins! Nice! There was music playing...mexican (??)...but it was not too loud.I noticed their pasta is home made and their pizza looked good too, but I had the eggplant today. It was served in a dish and had plenty of cheese and sauce over it. It came out quickly and was still bubbling when I got it.The server, Matt, was one of the best I have had in a long time. He asked if it was my first time and was quick to answer any questions I had. Very professional and very personable. I noticed the staff was frequently talking and laughing with one another, as the kitchen is "open" so you can see and hear what is going on. It is nice to see how they worked so well together and how pleasant everyone was.I will return here to try several other dishes, as the prices are in line with other nice Italian places and the atmosphere was very nice. Good food, fast, great service...I will bring my family here with me next time.

We've been going to Teresa's for a few years now. Every time the food is great! She makes the most incredible red sauce. We always get an extra bowl for the table. Last night, we took my Dad for his 86th birthday. They turned off the lights and brought him his dessert with a candle. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday! We genuinely love Teresa and her restaurant!

My initial review is below and had given 5 stars. I wanted to update because portions have been cut in half. Small salad means 4 bites now. And the quality has already changed. Caesar salad didn’t have anchovies like advertised or as it originally did when we first started coming here. First visit impressions: There are two truly Italian women cooking the food. We loved the food we ordered! It was amazing and so tasteful. The Caesar salad had anchovies, which is hard to find. This place will definitely be part of our normal rotation. I highly recommend this place for anyone in an Italian food mood.

Authentic Italian food!Twice in a month I’ve come here. First with a friend, and I enjoyed it so much I brought my family.I love this restaurant. Everything is made from scratch. The staff are lovely, personable people.Kid friendly. This feels like home. Like a community. Like love. And the food is amazing. I’ve had 3 different desserts now and they too are amazing! We are looking forward to coming back again.Kid-friendliness: They adored my kids and treated them like people rather than problems. ❤️

We made a reservation for 6:45 on a Saturday nite to sit outside. When we got there and were being seated outside one of the waiters with a salt and pepper ponytail and beard barked at us and said inside only due to the birthday party outside. It was the same guy who took the reservation early ver short and could use some manners. We waited a long time for our entrees to come out meanwhile the table next to us was partying a bit too much that when one of the ladies got up to leave she couldn’t stand on her own and fell on her way out from having too much to drink. The atmosphere of this place is not pleasant with many people walking in and out through the dining room to pick up take out orders and a staff the is not friendly nor dress appropriately (kitchen staff is shoulder-less blouses ? Not to mention the portions are very small considering the charge for the entrees. I had the fried eggplant which I think had two small pieces of eggplant and small amount of pasta not worth $20. We wanted to try this restaurant but wish we never did and will not return as there are many more restaurants that I’d rather spend my dollars on

So we were a little disappointed with place given the reviews we read online. One issue we had is when we went, the had a very, very limited menu, the chicken parmigiana I got wasn't even an option. Our waiter was nice enough to ask if they would make it for me, and the kitchen agreed which was very nice of them. They brought out crab bread which was nice, but unfortunately it was a little burnt and too hard for my liking. Their olive oil sauce is not a traditional one, it is one the spicy side; it's a special blend the owner makes. We started out with the Tagliere di Bruschette which was ok. Yes it had a lot of variety, but to me it needed crackers, instead of the hard bread they had given us. The lettuce on the board was really odd to me as well because it didn't really fit with a meat & cheese board. The chicken parmigiana was a huge chicken breast that was not beaten flat like most places, which was a nice change, but I didn't care for the marinara sauce they used on it; I was told that it was a more traditional sauce from South Italy (they don't use sugar in their sauce apparently). The veal parmigiana was not breaded like most places; it was literally slices of eggplant place in a dish & covered with sauce and cheese. The consistency was mushy, there was no texture whatsoever other than mush. It too of course was made with the same marinara sauce, which was also what they tossed the side of spaghetti with. I hate to say the highlight of the meal was the Limoncello shots we got at the end of the meal. Those were perfect lol.
